Here you'll find programs that may be useful when used in conjunction with K-Meleon. Note that these programs are all external to the K-Meleon project and are not endorsed by the developers of K-Meleon.
A tool to manage cookies. You simply setup the cookies you want to keep and the others are deleted upon exit of K-Meleon when used in a macro. Macros and toolbars for Cookie Monster in K-Meleon are available here.
From v3.10 & up there is no need for Auto_CM. You just have to modify the path in the OnQuit macro. Change this:

Mozilla Cookies View is an alternative to the standard 'Cookie Manager' provided by Netscape and Mozilla browsers. It displays the details of all cookies stored inside the cookies file (cookies.txt) in one table, and allows you to save the cookies list into text, HTML or XML file, delete unwanted cookies, and backup/restore the cookies file.
A free bookmark manager for those who prefer to manage their bookmarks independent of a browser.
This is an external tool for bookmark files managing. With this tool you can Import & Export your bookmarks. For example you can easily import your bookmarks from other Mozilla browsers, as FireFox, SeaMonkey or older K-Meleon versions, to your current K-Meleon bookmarks and use it in K-Meleon (imported bookmarks will be added to K-Meleon bookmarks file). Export can be used to copy or backup your bookmarks.
Import/Export Bookmarks (I-EBookmarks) it's very easy to use; no menus, no configurable options, clear interface, no install is needed and is easy to transport; all is in only one independent EXE file very light in size (235 KB). + Added Opera Hotlist import support in this 0.2 version.
Lunarmark is the program to synchronize your bookmarks between multiple browsers any time you want. It makes managing your bookmarks easy and efficient.
GUL Bookmark Manager is a freeware favourites organiser by Olivier Romano. GUL supports Netscape Bookmarks file types as well as Internet Explorer favorites. GUL has a familiar Windows Explorer-like interface which makes it very user-friendly. The K-Meleon Bookmark Assistant automates adding webpage shortcuts to GUL from K-Meleon through a macro and a Helper program 'bookmarker.exe'. Included in the package is GUL version 1.4.0 and a pre-configured GUL bookmarks file (linkers.gul) which is used by the bookmark assistant.
Meta Products Download Express is a program that allows you to download individual files from the Web and FTP sites. Multiple channels technology significantly reduces download time. Meta Products Download Express is a small (about 510 Kb) application. Meta Products Download Express has the auto-learn feature. It will ask you about including filename extensions when you add files with a new extension using browser click hot keys. When you cancel, Meta Products Download Express opens a file window for unwanted file types and asks if you want to exclude this extension from its file types list. Free Download Manager (FDM) offers you a vast variety of options to control and schedule your downloads. This is a light-weight but powerful download manager:

Scan downloaded files using your current antivirus software. Schedule your downloads for low traffic periods. Download from password protected sites in both HTTP and FTP protocols. To use Fresh Download in K-Meleon, no macros are needed. After installation, copy fdplugin.dll from the FreshDownload folder into your K-Meleon plugins folder. Then rename the file to npfd.dll.
Star Downloader is a download manager that accelerates your downloads by splitting the files into several parts and downloading them simultaneously. Download speeds are increased further by choosing the fastest mirror sites. You may automatically resume broken downloads if your connection is lost or if your computer accidentally shuts down. You can download files at certain times of the day. I can also automatically connect to your ISP and hang-up upon completion of downloads. There is an advanced category system and an integrated unzipping utility can automatically unzip and install downloaded files. Star Downloader also integrates with your antivirus program to automatically scan files upon completion of the download. Supports FTP and HTTP. Proxy is also supported along with support for over 50 languages.
To use Star Downloader in K-Meleon, no macros are needed. Copy the the file npstar.dll (from the Star Downloader installation folder) to your K-Meleon plugins folder.
GNU Wget is a free software package for retrieving files using HTTP, HTTPS and FTP. It is a non-interactive command-line tool, so it may easily be called from scripts etc.

Winget splits the file being downloaded into several parts and downloading these parts at the same time. You may automatically resume broken downloads if your connection is lost or if your computer accidentally shuts down.
Be sure to follow this part of the Winget instructions for installation with K-Meleon . . . "To enable integration with K-Meleon, copy the file WinNP.dll from the Winget installation folder to your K-Meleon plugins folder and rename it to NPWinget.dll."
Download List Generator is a K-Meleon addon-program that can create an incremental download list and save this list to a file. The created download list file then can be imported into most popular download managers.
The program is useful when wanting to download a large number of files from a website but not all links to the files are being displayed on the website, instead only the first and last link are being displayed. This program will create the missing links for you.
Since the program can also be used from the command line, it is possible so "send" an URL to the program from K-Meleon.

NewsFox is the default RSS/Atom feed reader in K-Meleon 1.1. The latest version of NewsFox for K-Meleon can be obtained from the NewsFox project website.
Aggreg8 was the default RSS feed reader in K-Meleon 0.9 and 1.0. This package is meant for use in K-Meleon 1.1.
MicroRSS is a very light weight RSS feed reader for K-Meleon 1.02 and 1.1RC. It includes instructions in the .zip file. It works better than Aggreg8 and has more features.
All the tools by jujuland must be put in Tools folder under K-Meleon folder, as explained in the text files included in the zip files.

Cablenut is a free program which claims to allow you to easily apply the most effective settings for your Dial-up, DSL, cable or T1 internet connection. It works on Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP, and if you do not like the new settings they can be easily reversed.
A tool which manages cache, history, cookies and dropdown list. This utility is no longer in development and there is no way of automatically clearing K-Meleon's cache on exit.

Minimize any application to the System Tray.
ClipTex is a simple plain text editor that reads the Windows clipboard at start-up. So when wanting to save plain text to a text file, there is no need to paste after opening the program, as the pasting is done automatically. The text can then be saved to a plain-text file.

KWC is a simple command line utility to control and modify state of an application window. If you don't type a window title as first parameter this is K-Meleon window by default. You can do with this utility:activate (gives focus to) window, minimize, maximize, restore, hide, show, disable, enable, set on top, set transparency of window, flashes window in the task bar. NVDA is a free and open source screen reader for the Microsoft Windows operating system. This software can enable blind or vision impaired people to access computers running Windows for no more cost than a sighted person. NVDA allows the user to find out what is happening on the screen by querying the Operating system and using a speech synthesizer to output the information. Mozilla Cache View is a small utility that reads the cache folder of K-Meleon/Mozilla/Netscape Web browsers, and displays the list of all files currently stored in the cache. For each cache file, the following information is displayed: URL, Content type, File size, Last modified time, Last fetched time, Expiration time, Fetch count, Server name, and more. You can easily select one or more items from the cache list, and then extract the files to another folder, or copy the URLs list to the clipboard. More info about this utility.
As an offline weblog client, Blog Desk lets you comfortably write and effortlessly publish new entries to your blog. No need to use those annoying HTML Tags in the WYSIWYG editor.
