I don't think the page has the problem. I used KM 1.5.4 and opened the page OK. I did this with Javascript on and off and saw no problem. If you find the other page, post it and I will give it a try.

I do clean installs for all alpha, beta, and RC versions. I have a "KM_Setup_Prefs.kmm" macro which I run which gets much of the work of the preference panel done. It sets skin, tab bar stuff, homepage, etc. When the final version is available, I just 7z the file into the K-Meleon folder which is my default browser. I back up the profile before doing that. There are some changes

@ desga2 It now opens OE and lets me send the mail with the URL. This is after I added the line user_pref("network.protocol-handler.warn-external.mailto", false); to my prefs.js. I just no longer get the intermediate step where I am asked if I want to launch OE.

It seems to be the combination of mail and zoom being set to false which causes the problem. I did Zoom, NewsFox, Mail and IE one at a time and then in combination. The failure to start was with Zoom and Mail. @ disrupted I added the line to prefs.js and that fixed the problem. It does not ask now to confirm the launch of OE but OE is launched. I will try to make a bug report.

Now I really don't understand what is going on. I made a new folder and used 7z load KM 1.6 alpha build 4. I put an empty profile.ini and started KM. I made no changes at all - no macros, no new skin - and tried to get "Send Page as a link" to work. It did nothing. I have a KM 1.1.6, a KM 1.5.3, and a KM 1.5.4 all on this computer. The Send page as a link works for all tho

I can't get the "send page as link" to work in 1.6 alpha build 4. The menu shows OK, but nothing happens when I select that option. It should launch Outlook Express. "%ProgramFiles%\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" is the information in configure mail. The mail.kmm file exists and other options in the menu seem to work.

Thanks for the help. I found that I could use the icon from setdefault.exe and it was the same as the old icon. It has no white background. Is not the support here great. Thank again.

I am not sure if this is the same thing I see sometimes or not. What I have found is the once in a while I will click on something and the status bar shows lookng and I have hourglass, but nothing seems to load. I find that a slow click again gets a fast load. Maybe it is the speed of my mouse.
