Siria, No caktus' tip did not help because the Toolbar Control was/is selected, but his outreach offer is greatly appreciated. Although I would not consider myself an advanced coder, I do know when I am trying something and I have not done anything in that area at all. I am a K-Meleon newbie. I just looked up yesterday or the day before and realized my tool bar icons were dimmed (backwar

If I upgrade from 1.5.4 to 1.6.0a4 I have to uninstall 1.5.4. Will I need to totally reconfigure the new installation? Will I need to start all over again with installing all of the extensions and tools that I had been running in 1.5.4? The documentation on upgrading provides no answers so I am posting here for some guidance before I do an upgrade (if at all).

A few days ago my tool bar icons disappeared, that is, they are "grayed" out. When I mouse over they will become visible. I have not changed any configuration settings or added any new extensions. Mysteriously, if I use "Restart Plus" in the file menu, the icons reappear in the tool bar. Any suggestions?

I was able to find those directions in the file itself but thank you anyway. I did download and install your latest/revised version 2.

Quit K-Meleon Extracted it in main K-Meleon program folder Restarted K-Meleon Went to > Tools > Privacy and there it was (Password Exporter) Then using Password Exporter I browsed to the .csv password file I had exported from Firefox, & imported it Then went to > Tools > Privacy > View Data > View Passwords and they were all there

SoerenB, Nope but many thanks, you are a gemtleman to help me. I only started using K-Meleon two days ago so the concept of extensions are new to me but I will take care of the soon.

I am using K-Meleon 1.5.4 and want to know if there is any way I can import my Firefox (3.6) passwords. I can export them in .csv format. I just very recently discovered K-Meleon and do not want to go back to Firefox. I have read a few threads in these forums about the topic but they do not make any sense to me and do not think they provided a solution. Regards, Chef Mars
