QuotekkoAh, I see. I haven't noticed this before. Must be a new Gecko feature. Don't know whether it can be disabled. Oops, Mozilla adds new features to an 0.0.1-update? ;( ---- Might 1.1a2 be leaking a bit? I think the usual problems that I have are appearing a bit sooner with this version. Is there anyone with similar observations?

QuotekkoDo you mean Advanced Preferences > Page Display: Images: Resize large images to fit in the browser window? No. That's disabled. Never the less I get a different mouse pointer when viewing large images (image, only, e.g. this one) and the image is fit to the window when I left click on it.

Next one, a question this time: Is there an easy way to *disable* this new shrink image feature on a left click, that's there when one views a large image? Or bind it to a double-left-click?

QuoteDorianFix: #878 Ctrl-Backspace deletes wrong part of URL The following might be related: If an URL ends with "/something123/" double-clicking on "something123" selects "something123/" <- including the slash (incorrect). But when the end of the URL is "/something123/a" double-clicking on "something123" selects "something123&quo

The send insecure warning dialog and others show now up in the task bar. With many K-M windows open I would prefer them to have a different icon (like a red lizard) or no icon at all to make it easier to find them (I just had one pop up, but continued to work elsewhere, had lots of green icons on the task bar, but didn't notice the one from the dialog at first...).

QuoteChg: Favicon support using moz API Looks good. But I noticed a small bug re. transparency: has an transparent background in Opera and FireFox, but in K-M the background is black when it is displayed as siteicon.

K-M 1.1a behaves just the same, the problem I describe obviously comes from the privacy bar and I suspect the look of the pressed buttons to be the root of all evil. Therefore a design question: Would it make sense to let the hidden window create new windows exactly like the window where the new window is created from (pressed toolbar buttons and selected menu entries), and update this state

QuotekkoQuoteraOh, and Edit - Preferences claimed that "Klassic" was my skin, although it was/is Phoenity_ra from my profile, set directly in prefs.js while the browser was closed. That's only an issue when using old profiles. No, this was a completely new profile. Is the selected skin saved at two places, so modifying prefs.js isn't enough anymore? QuoteIt's re

QuoteCarsonBut in the old days I was always unsure about posting these things. Maybe they cluttered up a very nice forum with extraneous material that appealed to only some people, and got in others' way. So, this time around I was intending to watch out for that. If it's too big a deal, though, we can just skip it. No harm done. Back in the old days I quit reading the general fo

Huh, what's that? I just tried to post a reply in the k-m 1.1a thread (URL was http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?1,68634,68666,page=1#msg-68666) and I got: QuoteAnti-spam software on this server has detected that your message might be spam. Another glitch: Clicking the home button on the toolbar opens a new window. Oh, and Edit - Preferences claimed that "Klassic" was my skin, although it was/is Phoenity_ra from my profile, set directly in prefs.js while the browser was closed.

QuoteDorianAFAIK Kmeleon developement was intended for macros/skins/plugins only, not for the development of kmeleon itself. In the past there were lots of questions about building K-M itself and only a few about building plugins... So I don't see the point in excluding the app. :-) 'Use the mailing list' doesn't count. *eg* K-Meleon Development should be K-Meleon develo

QuoteSeems like there are some problem with mouse accel Yep. I changed and added them in the default accel.cfg file for now... QuoteIf you need to change the main menu so much, just redefine it completely. So much? I'd considered that minor changes. :-) "Groups" takes too much space in the toolbar considered the fact that I hardly ever use it. BTW: Removing a menu like t

Thanks, trying it out now. Questions regarding the new cfg functions: a) Are my shortcuts in accel.cfg in the profile (created from preferences) supposed to overwrite the default ones? Because that doesn't work... b) How do I make "Groups" a sub-menu of "Tools"? c) How do I rename "Hotlist" to "H"? d) How can I re-order the menu to get

QuoteCarsonHow is that, ra? But what I really DON'T know is how feasible this is. Is it very difficult to do? Thanks for taking it up, Carson! I like your proposed forum setup. In order to avoid a fifth forum it would make sense to combine Development and Bugs, they seem to be closely related, IMO, so we would end up with K-Meleon General Questions (and Answers) K-Meleon Bugs and

QuotemarcopoloKMeleon is too much configurable, and some people could find it an inconvenience. Mmh, Joe User doesn't know this and will most likely stay away from configuration stuff anyway. Maybe it's too difficult to configure, but then you get what you want and not only what the dev(s) designed for you...

QuoteCarsonLet me know if you prefer no threads like this. Well, I'd like to have an off-topic forum for all such things. If there is one off-topic thread it can easily be ignored, but if there are many reading the forum becomes a pain again if someone isn't interested in gossip. ;-> BTW: I'm a RegSeeker-user myself, otherwise I'd probably have ignored this thread anyw

QuoteDorianQuotera Most likely related to fixing q) (IE downloading page). BTW: IE6 is still the most used browser but the forum looks quite ugly with it. <eg> In all case this means something is broken. The most used browser to look at this forum is surely not IE6. Anyways, IE6 is obsolete and IMO IE7 is a joke. So I don't care. But I accept patch if it makes the CSS better. Okay

QuoteJohnHellQuoteraI have already added the macro and changed my accel.cfg to reference it, but I have to wait for some downloads to finish until I can try it. What do you mean to wait until download? until the pictures is fully downloaded? I had some downloads running while I modified the cfg files, so the necessary browser restart to test my modification had to wait for about an hour... I

Thank you, JohnHell. I have already added the macro and changed my accel.cfg to reference it, but I have to wait for some downloads to finish until I can try it. What do you and others think: Should I create a RFE in the BTS for this?

ID_VIEW_IMAGE is always opening a new window. How can I view the image in the current window? Is there another command? Or do I need to write and use a macro again?

With K-M 1.02 on WinXP SP2+ I tried to make changes to Prefs.js from Edit - Preferences - Configs. First, I *added* a new line somewhere inbetween (in my case an additional gesture), closed the dialog and confirmed to save my changes ("Yes"). Next, I *modified* this line by opening Edit - Preferences - Configs - Prefs.js again and saved it again. Now, here's the bug: K-M
