Might just have to pin shortcuts to that. That is what I do. One thing to remember is that this method creates a new profile. I then make changes to the new profile to keep preferences the same as in my previous profile. It might be possible to copy the contents of a prior profile over the new one. I have not tried that. Since I use Favorites rather than bookmarks, I have no need to m

Since K-Meleon is a 32 bit program, it should not have been in Program file folder. It should be in program files (x86). Having said that, I always make my KMs portable. I do not install. I went to C drive and made a folder called "KM_pgms". Since I created the folder, I have full authority there. Inside KM_pgms folder I make a folder for which ever KM version I wish. The most r

View source code takes about 1 second for 6536 lines of source code for me (K-Meleon 76 RC). I concur. I am using KM 76 RC2 on Win 10. What could be the reason for the strange behavior in my case? Not sure. I will try on another machine with less power and RAM later today. EDit: Slower cpu and less RAM did not seem to change anything.

James, just curious, do you only have 2 checkboxes on the ballot? Or are things like over here, the smaller players may be voteable but have zero chance anyway, so just as good as not existing at all? There are other candidates listed. Usually too small in terms of support to have any real chance. There is even a block where one can 'write in' a candidate not listed. I suppose I could

Is it fair game to talk web politics at this forum?. I would prefer that we not. This is the only place on the internet that has little or no politics. Ergo this is the only site I regularly visit. I am from the USA, but I did not pick a canidate in the recent election, because "None of the above" was not on my ballot. I have no idea if the leaks done by any specific grou

I am glad that it works for you. Sorry that my instructions are not better. For me, it is easier to create than to explain.

msea Look in this thread: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?9,140309 At the bottom of my first post there is an attachment. You will need to download that. Also get the file noted in the following: The attached file is not all a user must have for this to work. One needs a portable SumatraPDF. It should be placed in the KMroot\browser\plugins folder. I was able to obtain thi

I'm tempted to go with foxit first because of the tiny file size. But if it doesn't integrate like Sumatra does, or if it has other unwanted surprises, I won't bother try it. Not sure about Foxit. I have never tried that software. The Sumatra has a npp file which goes inside your KM profile and lets KM call Sumatra which is located in the same folder. I have no idea how Foxit operates.

The Republic of Plato - Ok, sounds good to me. I am using SumatraPDF within KM and it opened the file easily. Look in the Extensions section for my 'Print Preview' work-a-round. It has the information for putting a SumatraPDF into the KM. http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?9,140309 Note that you may need to remove or disable your current PDF software in order for this to work.

The item in preferences - GUI appearence - general - Hide K-Meleon app title bar for KM76RC2 does not reflect the state of the title bar. I found this when I looked for solutions for this item: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?1,140560 In my prefs panel the block was un-checked so I checked it and did a restart. I came up in KM without the title bar as expected. However when I went t

Possible regression? In a post that I made today in the Off Topic section there seems to be a difference in the appearance of the forum. See the pictures below. I do have js enabled both places. Is there another item that I should check? http://i.imgbox.com/DjTuoX0D.jpg http://i.imgbox.com/rlmx46ST.jpg

Looks like 2017 is the last year that Firefox will offer support to users with XP or Vista operating systems. https://www.engadget.com/2016/12/24/firefox-xp-vista-support-ends-in-september-2017/#039;s%20latest%20software%20can%20work%20with%20your%20decade-old%20PC.%20%20However,%20even%20that%20team%20has%20its%20limits%20--%20it's%20phasing%20out%20support%20f

rodocop The site was https://www.myhealth.va.gov/ I think that they were having some server/code problem. I just now got that site to load in another tab. Right now, I am using the 76RC version of the browser. For two days that site would not load in 75.1, 76RC, or 76RC2. It did load in MS Edge yesterday. I wish that I could remember what site returned a message about TLS.

siria From: https://www.howsmyssl.com/ I am supplying TLS 1.2 and the following cyphers: The cipher suites your client said it supports, in the order it sent them, are: TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256 TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256 TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_CBC_SHA TL

I have started getting messages that I cannot use some sites in HTTPS mode because the security is not good enough. What is the highest level KM can handle? Are there any options a user can do to increase the security? I have tried in 75.1, 76RC and 76RC2. I don't think this user agent related. One site mentioned TLS, but I don't remember the specific message.

This is just a test, but it seems to work. Siria, have not had time to try your code yet. I looked everywhere for the linebreak error message and did not find it. I think it is built into the commandID. droplbrun.kmm # K-Meleon Macros (http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?id=MacroLanguage2) # # ---------- droplbrun.kmm "Drop linebreak & run" K-Meleon Macro

It's a nice feature to right-click an url written on a page and directly open it in a new tab ... But this does not work if the url is multiple-lined with LineBreak inside ... Example here: https://www.heise.de/forum/Telepolis/Kommentare/Gefaehrden-die-Glocken-schnell-laufender-Kampfkuehe-die-Sicherheit-der-Schweiz/Re-Sprengladungen-an-Rheinbruecken-und-auf-Autobahnen/posting-25163327/show/

K-Meleon which is a windows program uses windows style path, and, if I want to use a linux program to see pdf I must transform windows path to linux path. Yes, paths can be a problem. In the most recent version, I have the created file deleted when the user closes the window. It drove me crazy that I couldn't make that work until I saw that the URL and path were equal except that the sla

I am no expert on this but I think the way the site is coded has something to do with the problem. From site source code line 221: "https://www.youtube.com/embed/4ZYouPgbnqM " The item has an extra blank prior to closing quote. Embed code from MS Edge: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/4ZYouPgbnqM" fr

Would it help if I put into setup a way for the user to create the filetype and save that in a pref? It could be pdf, xps, oxps, or whatever the output is from the user's print driver as long as SumatraPDF or any other PDF reader software installed will be used from within KM. I had no idea how complex this could be when I began working on my work-a-round.

I was hoping not to have to include a lot of text strings explaining to user that they might have to print files using driver. Then input the extension(s) to be held in a pref(s) so the macro would know what file to load for review. I am going to have to rethink that now, or go another direction.
