Yes, because it gives you the page with all the modern stuff which is impossible to render with 1.7. The sort of same but more strange issue I've got with TheWorld Browser 6 with hacked useragent (it shows Chrome 57 instead native 31): when on Facebook this version with native UA (31) shows the site - but with warning about outdated browser but with hacked UA (57) it shows no warning but als

Hello, i use KMeleon for more than a half year. KMeleon is very good for hidding your Adresse and Surfing Acctivity. When you have the right options clicked in KMeleon Browser it is not possible for Google, Facebook,Youtube and co. to "hack your Adresse" and get every information they want from you, including NSA, PRISM etc. But! KMeleon is threw its very small and easy to handl

Hello, I'm not a programist and I am not familiar with advanced configuring and setting up K-meleon. In my shop I have a really old and weak computer from the year 2005. K-Meleon on the 76 RC version works fine for me to the moment, when I go on some heavily Java/Flash webpages such as facebook or popular news webpages in Poland. Then i have a mega lag on my PC - processor 100% and all related f

The unhappy visitor to this different place just doesn't GET it...and will not. If most or even many of the users of K-Meleon spent life energies worrying about 'security' - they would simply... Not be here anymore. Bickering endlessly over a suggestion that is falling upon deaf ears will not make it suddenly get lots of 'likes' (this ain't facebook, sorry). As I sit here at my desk I ha

No I'm not a developer. Merely a consumer. But it doesn't mean I can't bear an interest in K-Meeleon's future. Moreover, if it's not a lack of interest on the K-Meleon team's part, and just a lack of opinions, then get on the fourm and say so. Don't leave the "Facebook" thread doemant for weeks on end, because the DOES look like disinterest. And never mind trying more useragents

Also to echo some of Pale As The Moon's sentiment, following in Pale Moon's lead might provide a quick fix to the Facebook issues I posted about. That thread keeps dying from lack of interest around here, but these things should be top of mind, if there is any future for K-Meleon's user base. try this user-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Trident/7.0; Touch; .NET4.0E; .NET4.0C; Tablet PC

Oh, those russian hackers! http://s19.postimg.org/6m6dpgimn/dirol.gif But you're right - javascript.options.asmjs = false solves this Not only russian hackers. http://s19.postimg.org/6m6dpgimn/dirol.gif There are also other sites using that trick - among them Facebook as well, if I recall exactly. Be aware that the above setting might have a negative impact on JS performance on some si

Wow! I can't believe this isn't garnering more interest. :( We're just way too little people here, and no dev around most of the time. Just a few fellow users, with more or less skills, trying to help others, but that's very limited what we can do. John, not sure if you've seen my link above to the PM forum. Perhaps there are more links from there, no idea. Oh, I see, sorry. I remembe

To be fair, Jody, I don't use Facebook much, less logged-in, and even, most probably in mobile version. I didn't even dig what was that about CORS in Pale Moon. What did they exactly do? Because CORS if stands for what I know, it means the permissions for cross origin domain access policies, what is nothing that a browser can do, but target servers. Can you post a link to that discussion

The worst thing is that such a behaviour of sime sites (like Facebook) is mostly far from following web standards... But they can force to be web standard, as they are part of the W3C: https://www.w3.org/Consortium/Member/List

Yeah... That facebook scripting issues are the most annoying among all that daily updated web stuff which makes slightly outdated engines unusable. There was a time when this glitch was present in KM 75 but absent in 76. And for now it 'infected' Gecko38 too...

Unfortunately, it won't fix K-Meleon though, unless you can build a new release from a newer Gecko version. :( Too bad too, because K-Meleon renders faster on a lot of stuff. (some areas it's slower, but great overall)

No we haven't completely fixed it. Some useragent strings make it refresh twice and hold, but then, the home freed switches to whatever group or page the post was made. I was hoping you guys got further :(

Looks like you found a solution, in the Palemoom forum: https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=13005&start=320 Didn't read all 17 pages, but sounds like it's a bug in the Mozilla engine? And is fixed in Palemoon now? Wonder if it's fixed in KM76 too with the newer engine inside? Until fixed in KM too, did you find some workaround to stop it manually, perhaps using the sto
