There is an ad engine function in Advanced Prefences (guess You are referring to that): There press the ADD engine button: it will ask You for an URL and an description. The description is obvious. I am not good with adding things but... On jujuland, k-meleon extension page, is an extension called livehtpheaders. It can be used to peek into comunications between browser and pages/servers.

Orbit works with K-Meleon - It will automatically detect what You donwload, when You set it to watch active browser. You can also set it to watch what You copy or You can paste url into it. An extra extension exists at the K-Meleon extension page called Jujuland (which is down today). But I use Orbit as it came.

Yes You can allocate more. Maybe try & use the same values as Your Firefox gets. K-Meleon needs very little RAM - AFAIK only Opera is needs less (but consumes more CPU cycles. I always use mouse gestures - plus IE Favorites which i use to store bookmarks shared between differnt K-Meleon installs. BTW: we do not have to import Favorites and Hotlist but K-Meleon can use these bookmarks

AFAIK K-Meleon keeps RAM not required by other applications. It is a setting common for Mozilla browsers and helps to spead them up. The RAM is released imidiately when the browsers are minimized ( the rationale seems that normaly a browser is minimized when it is not used soon and therefore can release RAM). BTW. AFAIremeber Dorian fixed existing, older leaks - he mentioned it.

The Firefox extension called "stealther" does not support K-Meleon - even when You adapt its code so that no errors are visible anymore in Error Console. The reason for this is possibly that it toggles items that do not exist with K-Meleon in the same form.
