I might be wrong - I imagine to remember that it was mentionend it is possible to open a nickname in bookmarks that contains links and different pages? They all open. But first try to set via View > Start > Open Group ... ( like kko suggested ) The group must exist - else its choose box is blank. The menue items should be there and they exist unless the used profile is damaged. gre

1.1.2 (...beta) It only seems to update when a window is closed. Since I surf in one window for an hour the last history.dat dates from 23.35 and its 00.32. Few use it.

To acces any Perferences features not working at the momemnt You can use an older, 1.1 exe that You copy into the 1.5 directory. Remember to rename it e.g. to k-meleon1.1exe before You copy it there so that it does not overwrite the 1.5.

Since version Your profile of k-meleon will contain bookmarks_backup.html. If the current bookmarks get damaged have a look at this backup file. If You do so right after You lost the old bookmarks it is still containing the bookmarks.

To me the preview makes sense. Sometimes I store a download on hdd and if I install later the preview is usefull. And not all download pages show previews. The setup is used for these also - but maybe the setup should be constructed so that the preview can be skipped if the setup is for pages with prview. I did not understand where I can find the improved nlf.

No. You find the Preferences in submenu of Options. You can correct the settings there. If You are not succesful with that just create & start a new profile. p. s. You almost never have to reinstall. Mostly You backup private data, create a new Profile and delete the old one if the new one behaves any better. If the new profile is no good You sometimes have to reinstall.
