This could be due to xpcom_core.dll file not created for Firefox 3.6.x and Seamonkey 2.1.x. Is possible that k-meleon.exe needed some fix to avoid call this file or copy it from other Gecko 1.9.2.x builded to K-Meleon by guenter: http://dhost.info/kmeleonskins/1.9.2.16modular.7z I think xull.dll is calling xpcom_core.dll.

I found this: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Embedding/NewApi QuoteMozilla Wiki Documentation Embedding/NewApi ================== Getting the code --------------------- The code currently lives outside the main tree in a separate Mercurial repository (http://hg.mozilla.org/incubator/embedding/). Please try with a new profile in K-Melon 1.6beta2. Check that you have JavaScript enabled, Tools -> Privacy -> Block JavaScript (unchecked) Are you using some extension, as adblock plus or noscript? Are you using some Adblock CSS filter or User-Defined StyleSheet? What Windows version are you using?

Quotegordon451 Quotedesga2 As Camino developers said, is time to migrate to WebKit engine. Better for us, worst for Mozilla. My other browser is QtWeb 3.7 with AppleWebKit/533.3 -- unfortunately WebKit does not support Java. For example, I cannot use Landgate Property Finder, which works reasonably well in KM, and very well in IE6. As the cat said to the rodents: "Don't be in to

Yes it is, other Gecko browser migrated to Webkit engine; Epiphany, Flock, and the next are Camino and K-Meleon. Technically the migration is possible. This announcement changed our future "roadmap": K-Meleon 1.6.x => Seamonkey 2.0.x, Firefox 3.5.x => Gecko 1.9.1.x K-Meleon 1.7 => Firefox 3.6.x => Gecko 1.9.2.x K-Meleon 1.8? => Seamonkey 2.1.x?, Firefox 4.0.x? =&g

But I'm not sure if add it in Preferences panel or in menus with a macro as JamesD did it. @ JamesD: Please, you can read this existed pref, instead to set the new pref "k-meleon_FMgri.Language.ID", to open the correct language and

I think this is K-Meleon 1.6Beta and not K-Meleon 1.7alpha. You can look k-meleon.exe version show 1.6.0 and not 1.7.0. Also 1.7alpha is based in Firefox 3.6.x because this use Gecko 1.9.2.x and not Gecko 1.9.1.x from Seamonkey 2.0.x. @ Fred: Where are you download the Seamonkey Tinderbox version? Lately Seamonkey Tinderbox are also packeted in a big exe file as nightly and release and don

This not remove blank spaces, for it I think that you need AdblobkPlus. Quotejackuars Shouldn't the Application Data folder too be changed? I mean C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\K-Meleon

Dorian is also very busy and he haven't free time for K-Meleon for now. I hope release something before June of this year. KM 1.6Beta3 possibly ...
