Where I'd find dates and times most useful, would be Bookmarks Actually, you have dates in bookmarks. They aren't displayed when hovering, if you are requesting something like that, but they can be viewed with the bookmarks editor. It shows the date added and the last time you clicked on it to visit the site (not the last time you visited it, despite the descriptive text).

...history modification... I browsed through the Development forum, etc. Does the Latest Development Release, K-Meleon 76 RC or K-Meleon 76 Pro, contain such fine updates? The RC and RC2, being official, no, not yet as the date of I released my changes. For the unofficial custom version, called Pro, by rodocop, only him can answer it. Or download it and test it ;)

Whatever was or was not patched did not stop the problem. Totally correct. As it was a "dropper". Or in human words, an attachment in a mail, or an URL in a mail that people followed, downloaded and run :/ People no following a minimum set of precautions. Not a new story. The bigger impact here was the spread across the LAN, as a worm, through that SMB vulnerability.

Really hundreds of MB? with the direct link above it is only 5.5MB :S But it's also true that that small video, being just slightly bigger than 720p, eats loads of CPU time. P.S.: Moved.

It does happen to me, but I'm with Gecko 31 browsers (K-meleon 75.0, Firefox 31). But, instead, why not downloading the real video. This trend about .gifv is a way to hide a real .mp4 file without sound. The file is at: High definition: https://giant.gfycat.com/RecklessDirectBlobfish.mp4 Mobile version https://thumbs.gfycat.com/RecklessDirectBlobfish-mobile.mp4 I really hate th

(Perhaps we should split this into a new thread for Old Hardware or Systems?) I'd better delete the messages. There is no need for a new thread, just stop talking this off-topic xD I fixed above because looks like I'm saying 2GB each file, no, by each I mean, 2GB read and write. For me, off-topic ended ;)

JohnHell, I think this could help you now. No telling how long we could need to wait for a version of KM which could reread macros without a restart. You would need 128 MB of ram that you could commit to this. I know you have older ops sys and hardware. Hope this can help. Yep, and that is the problem. I already use a RAMDisk for the cache and, partially, for the profile (not strictly

 - If for any reason postimg stops its image hosting service, the macro will stop working as expected. Yes that part is obvious. For that case it helps a bit if at least the images had a telling name. BBCode doesn't allow ALT or TITLE text, so, no way. Using a personal macro for that purpose would be useless, as visitors won't see those ALT and/or TITLE. Not my fault, again

Okay thanks. Actually I'd prefer to allow usage elsewhere too, just thought you had written somewhere not to. Perhaps remember wrong. I remember I said, somewhere, other thread I guess, that the smileys would be available depending on the availability of postimg, that if they don't display, is not my fault, or something like that. Concerned that, in someways, I was hotlinking and postim

JohnHell, in other words - we need something like command to 'ReInit' or 'ReSetup' browser without restart - yes? I ignore what ReInit and what ReSetup are, but yes, something to coding macros without continues closes and opens when some stupid bug of you own breaks a macro.

Now wondering, before publishing it for other users, do you mind if my menu macro includes the same postimg-links as yours? There is not restriction on bandwidth or such, AFAIK, so use them. I see you placed in kmm: "external smilies hosted by JohnHells macro, use only for KM-Forum" If you don't want to use them any other site, just place a domain check for kmeleon.sour

Yes, JamesD, but still, isn't helpful, requires a close-open. Quicker or not. Every close and open my hard drive "cracks" to hell. I feel its pain in my flesh.

(And as I told back in time, if we could change macro code without restarting K-meleon, that would be awesome. Would be time saving.) Are you making use of Restart2 macro? No. If I understood when this was created, that won't make a difference. K-meleon needs to be closed and re-opened to reload macros changes.

setclipboard() Mostly not needed! No need to silently delete a users clipboard contents IF the only purpose is to transfer some selected text on a webpage into a macro variable. There's already an automatically filled variable for this case: $SelectedText There's still a need for clipboard commands in some cases, but only rarely, mostly to exchange text with other programs. Ok, ok, and you

Ok, so no more use of menus.cfg first to create a menu holder for items http://s19.postimg.org/qqdfhlahb/whistling.gif Thanks Siria.

EDIT: yes, menu creation without addressing it. Without a parent. The menu creation without addressing. Let's say we want to create a menu called "aaa" without address it. Is it being created by simply? setmenu("aaa", macro, "menu item", "macroname"); Is this what it means that a menu is created without address it to another. With that com

No. Menus do NOT need a parent for their creation :) Mind blowing :S Now I see it http://s19.postimg.org/h6kwlsci7/facepalm.gif The commands were optional!!! LOL. I understand now how to create Holders automatically. I always had to add a menu holder (to be used as inline or popup) in menus.cfg for menu items http://s19.postimg.org/fk4vs1f7z/rofl.gif I suck. Really, even though

I totally forgot $ARG. Maybe I can use to clean code of some of my personal macros http://s19.postimg.org/y5tv11npr/eusathink1.gif Before macro functions (since K-meleon 75.1), this is, a macro with parameters, there was $ARG. So, if you call the macro "test" with an $ARG, you are passing parameters to the macro. Let's see: test{ alert($ARG); } If you call tha

Just saying this is NOT A BUG and NOT NEW: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?1,100044 Talking about it 7 years ago. The fix is as easy as have common sense. Type URLs for important sites (like banking), don't follow links, etc. Even though it is easier to catch them with punnycode, the problem isn't in how the URL is formatted, UTF-8 or ASCII. P.S.: no hace falta que pongas

Maybe someone now tests it and say, "no, there is no need of index.sqlite" either. What I can tell you for sure is that localStorage doesn't need an offline cache folder/"index.sqlite" in order to work (read & write). Local storage/DOM storage doesn't, but indexedDB does. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/IndexedDB_API

Just trying to better understand why and how: why 1x attributes and 1x permissions? Because the database for the indexedDB API needs to exist first. You can't set OfflineCache folder without writing permissions. It is easier to set, after creation, to just read only, after emptied, of course. Just a plain index.sqlite file without any other data. If I remember correctly, those were my fi

Set permissions for Profile Dir > storage > persistent as read only (permissions, not attribute) for all users in Windows and it won't be written anything there. All will work in memory. Set read only (attribute, not permissions) OfflineCache > index.sqlite (this is indexedDB feature) and you'll done. No data is written to disk. All memory. And, really, all pages demanding them wor

Tried. Vanilla W2k, doesn't work (kernel32 missing function GetSystemTimes). Kernel wrapper required. Works. I'll take a deeper look, maybe... By the way, direct contact, unsuccessful. They request a ticket. As I can't access the new hyper scripted contact support pages, no way to contact. Awesome.

Yes, I intended to say that only can change mail and pass. I was searching in the support pages to contact them. I later remembered I contacted them once and mail address is support_at_4shared_dot_com That windows client, I bet it doesn't work on W2k ;P

I don't know what they did, but no way. It is some JavaScript that doesn't run and make the site unusable (even links don't work), but, one way or another, it doesn't work. I can't even sign out xDDD. If you have an account there, could you test if with K-meleon 76 does work the personal pages, account settings, etc? Isn't funny that obsolescence path is being rule by websites and br

Yes, I knew that, and for that exact reason I told you the above. In K-meleon that won't be possible in any way. Unless a new release is available, what it isn't to be in the nearest future. well... this is a new release, neigh? unfortunately it does not support that api.. No, this is kind of what we could call an enhancement of the latest development version, 76 RC2. Rodocop, RC2
