Hmm... or is that not your own, but a native menu, Page Properties? Defined only english in menus.cfg?? In that case try the english names, although I have no idea if it helps. But special attention with that one, there are 2 of them! setmenu("Page Pro&perties",... setmenu("Page &Properties",... A bit tricky, they appear in different places, guess one in View menu

Ah - looks like menus.cfg is ANSI yet... Then, that should be the suggested fix, or... I don't now, because is the only thing that match your digs in my profile. Dorian will have a better idea.

This is not a problem with this RC itself, but maybe in K-meleon in a whole, and maybe not a bug either, but I post this as a suggestion for the future releases. Might I be wrong if I say that setmenu doesn't accept a menu to be addressed with UTF or Unicode characters, in particular, with accents? (I'm trying to address to "InformaciĆ³n de pĆ”gina", a custom menu set through menus.cf

Actually I don't know at what level Dorian has implemented these things. Good to know, rodocop. EDIT: Probably I scared out Scyther :( In the other hand, this shouldn't be hidden :/

Because there isn't a "Downloads history". You'll need to use the normal History and search for the file. It's not a big deal. If for example you downloaded a 7z file, it's enough to type 7z in the search, or, to be more accurate, .7z.

I have been using FireFox (36) and have noticed that it seems to run a little slower than previously. I my exploring my computer and using Spybot S & D, I found a file I didn't recognize: Kmeleon.general.homePage. This is listed under the browser settings. Is this the 'default' search engine for Mozilla FireFox? Can I remove it if necessary? Perhaps a program installed it without my kn

Flash seems to block some keyboard accelerators. And without it, in a fresh start I have to hit several times my CTRL SHIFT ' to bring the console. In fact, I discovered, before post this, that I have to click outside the textarea of the post editor to be able to open it. Maybe this only happens to console. But I want to let know it here. Just in case, because is curious xD EDIT

layers.acceleration.disabled true As I said in the past, (for me) is funny you are having problems with hardware acceleration when I stopped having them in Windows 2000 from version 75 xDD when it was a nightmare (if you forget to disable) in K-meleon 74.

URLBar behavior. When clicking the arrow to show the drop down list of the URLBar, if clicking the arrow again, or ESC is pressed, or outside the drop down list, or in the URLbar field itself (wihtout clicking a list item), or pressing TAB, or... (in other words, to hide the drop down list again) it reloads the page where you are. This behavior only happens if the page you are in has been ac

That would be great, same as the preference where checks for new updates, or whatever does, to kmeleon.sf.net at first start.

I thought that I would give this new web browser a 'spin' to see how well it worked. Imagine my surprise then when I found that it is not possible to use it as there does not apear to be an "Open" (page) button or menu item anywhere in the program !!!! YES - I know that you can manually enter a web address but that is NOT how we use a web browser. We have our own "startpage&

A little update for the sessions tab order and the search macro. Javascript can't be toggled. Not through the Tools menu, nor through my own accelarator, nor through my toolbar button. Back to RC for me.

And if I'm not wrong, Dorian said it isn't a problem of storing, but display. I remember him writing that its because the favicon cache file is being written to too many times. Then I misunderstood. Sorry. In XP's Service Pack 3 the version is 5.82.2900.5512 (just extracted and expanded from a SP3 patch I have here). I uploaded these, including the 6.x version from the win2k wrap

Dorian: I have an idea regarding the favixcon corruption issue. Maybe you could try storing them as Data URLs. Well? This would need to change the way favicons are retrieved. How to store them is a minor part of the problem. Then what about storing them as .ico(s) in a subdirectory (such as favicons)? Not all icons are .ico file type, they are also .png. And as a side note

As a side note, I tested that .exe under Windows 2000 to see if it fixes something too and that breaks again the old skins system transparencies returning to black backgrounds. It breaks, or doesn't repair ? For Linux, it repairs for old and new skins. I'm not requesting a fix. Me, I am  A+ It breaks. In Windows 2000 the old skins buttons have transparent background. With that

@jujuland Try this update for the transparency. I want to verify something. You already know, I'm not requesting a fix, just telling here.

Dorian: There's another bug that I've been noticing for a while. The bug is that when watching a flash video, going to another tab, and back to it causes it to show the frame that was last displayed before switching then it shows the actual frame its now at. An example can be viewed by going to http://www.twitch.tv/werster/v/3835336. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Confirm this

I don't try RC version yet, but in previus beta versions when you view source of web page you can't do mouse-scroll in view source window. You have to do click on other window and become to view source window to can do mouse-scroll. I think there is some problem in the view-source code with the focus. I tried it in Windows 7, can someone confirm this problem in other systems? Greenti

But perhaps add a comment near the header somewhere how to *create* the button, that is must be done manually via toolbars.cfg. Because usually macros that toggle buttons also create them themselves, so this might get confusing to later users not aware of this thread and may use other skins ;-) (and I'm still not convinced that toggling back would work also for types 4+5 ) A wish of

The problem with the update of icons status (pressed or not) in the toolbars is back with the update 3. There is the need to move the mouse or press a key to see the change (already said by Yogi in the proxy thread in General forum). Looks like this time is worst as it doesn't populate to other windows, so, even if an icon in the toolbar can change after mouse move (actually the move most of

Actually is more a macro thing, so, yes, Siria xD But better would be to adapt GreaseMonkey to K-meleon and use the already created scripts instead create new macros for cleaning links (that is what those add-ons do), so I vote for desga or Dorian. Then, I think the only left thing would be to just include a call to Greasemonkey in the LinkPopup menu. Note: I said Greasemonkey because of

I have one observation. Some KM cache files at my XP were populating IE's 'Temporary Internet Files' folder. Helping one russian comrade in his case we found that some KM builds (Ex.: 75b) don't keep some big files in KM profile cache folder and some (Ex.:74) do. Than was found that there are pref browser.cache.disk.max_entry_size that defines max size of file stored in disk cache.

Sorry, but, no. I'm with guenter and I can't believe it. And it's not happening to me either. Look it is not only that new programs installed use of the IE engine, but actual programs may use it. Some of your programs sit in the tray, or any other program you are using, is using the engine to browse and what to set cookies. I hadn't such problems in K-meleon 74 and I don't have in K-meleon 7

Forget about Google, Google is being mentioned because is what delays the start being tried to open. That made a good hint (search). The following preference modified, doesn't matter with what, avoid to trigger the DNS request and the try to open that page: kmeleon.plugins.macros.search.meta0.url For example from the default http://www.google.com/search?num=100&q= to http://www.

I hate when you do that :P Let's show it on a video. In this video I won't disconnect the WAN as I found 2 quicker ways, or pausing my DNS server, or what is at your hand, stopping the dnscache service, but doing this K-meleon will load faster as the DNS api is not available and doesn't try much to resolve the DNS and therefore load the Google URL. You'll see: 1. I show that Google is
