It's there. I'm using it all the time for closing and opening new tabs.

OFF Topic QuoteguenterIch jedenfalls werde in keinem Forum posten, wo meine Muttersprache unerwünscht ist.

Deine Installation scheint total verhunz

IMO its definitive neither a K-Meleon nor a Gecko bug.

Happened to me too with some downloads since v.75. To circumvent the issue right click the download link and choose "Save Link Target As".

Quoteguenter I tested with some other chromium based browsers with mixed results. Which means some browsers with that engine can do. https://www.kissfm.ro/ other chrome based installs that do: FlashPeak Slimjet Version 2.1.6.0 (basierend auf Chromium 38.0.2125.104), Weird. Did now a last test with FlashPeak Slimjet v.4.0.10.0. It doesn't work for me. All my tests (K-Meleon 75, F

I've tested now on Win7 with Chromium and Iron. None of them worked for me. I've tested without any plug-in, extension or dedicated player to see if the browser can handle it on its own.

Hi Siria, it's about Internet Radio or to be more precise the PLS file format.

Yogi
I don't see how this kind of stream (KissFM/Internet Radio) can be handled only by a browser. You need therefore a dedicated player or a dedicated plug-in for play back. You say that you can listen to the stream with Firefox (I can't). Take a look at what plug-ins are activated in your Firefox. Also take a look at your task manager and see what other than Firefox is active during play

QuoteKMfan2Another "bug" : i can't hear sound on this page http://www.kissfm.ro/ , bottom left is a play button that should play music but it doesn't. In Firefox it works ! Firefox ESR 31 and K-Meleon 75 are behaving the same here. Note that I don't have Winamp installed on my system. Since I don't have any association for .pls files I get offered in both browser

QuoteKMfan2 No, it is about loading slow or faast. It's about that, when i open K-Meleon FOR THE FIRST TIME (e.g. in the morning when the PC was shut down) it does that. So, your problem is that K-Meleon needs about 10 seconds to start after booting your OS. Is that correct? Something is hindering it. Is it only K-Meleon or other browsers too? (IE doesn't count since it is part of

@KMfan2 gds.ro loads fast here (Germany). @guenter Are you sure you made the look up correct for gds.ro? 104.28.11.100 seems to be a CloudFlare server. (TCP connection) CloudFlare is a bitch. I've also encountered some problems with sites using CloudFlare. As for foxnews.com the IP I get is 104.74.85.123/23.54.99.153 (Akamai servers) (Traffic sniffed with Whireshark.)

Google is my default search engine in 3 browsers (K-Meleon, FirefoxESR and Opera Presto). To avoid TLD redirection there is no need to allow cookies at all. At least that's how it works for me. I never allow cookies for Google. The below is the search string I'm using in K-Meleon for Google US. Google US - 100 results, no suggestions: https://encrypted.google.com/search?hl=en&nu

KM-75RC2u1 is downloading PDF files by default for me. I don't have any plugin for PDF files since I want them to get downloaded. KM-74 prompts to open or save the PDF file. It's only a matter of one click to download. What happens if you disable your PDF plugin in KM? Do you still have "open" as default action?

Yogi
QuoteVoltaire Still the same immediate crash of the entire program after having set file handling for PDF-files to "save to disk" when clicking on any PDF link ... "Save to disk" is the default action in Km-75RC2u1. No need to set anything for that. Did you try a clean install of Km-75RC2? Furthermore if you encounter problems you should also name your OS and the browser

IMHO it's impossible to tailor a browser so it can fit everyone's taste. The same applies for anything else. One of the killer features of K-Meleon is that you can customize it at your like. As you can see in the image below, the privacy bar is very short. Items I don't want to get displayed are commented out. There are only 4 buttons (for cookies, for animated GIFs, for proxy an

Quoterodocop how did you get your start page, Yogi? More simple as you might think. It's a basic HTML file (with some images which are linked to the respective sites) set up in Km as my home page. In case you like the background imge, I've attached it.

K-Meleon 75RC. BTW, my K-Meleon 74 looks the same. Left or right-click on Tools button opens different menus: Some other tasks like opening or closing tabs are performed through mouse gestures.

QuoteKaraI must admit I'm confused now... I've used that browser every day, for years and years, and I swear there was a right click context menu when clicking links in the bookmarks list, same as in Firefox - just like when clicking a link in a page. And no, I didn't confuse it with Firefox. Do not swear as long as you aren't 100% sure. You can easily find out by download

QuoteKara Same effect, just more clicks (and they always say new versions are supposed to make things easier...). Not necessary true. Once you'll bother to find out what mouse gestures are good for, you'll be able to open a new window on the fly without the need of any click.

Thanks. I've dropped the icons, just in case someone wants to try a PrivBar based only on icons. It's rather an IKEA like "do it yourself" approach. Users needing more help for creating such a PrivBar can ask here for help (e.g. how to append icons for creating the PrivBar or how to edit toolbars.cfg). Only drawback, I can help only with the old skin format. I haven&#

@Siria & JamesD I wouldn't bother about the not found .cfg files for now. Dorian mentioned earlier that he might still make some changes to the skin system. Therefore I'd wait for now. Macros are wonderful but the less lines of code, the better. As for a solution, I tend to agree with Siria, most simple would be to have the copies of the .cfg files in the skin folder, assumi

I've made some icons for the PrivBar on the quick. Maybe someone wants to replace the text with icons. I did on mine. The PrivbBar will get shorter. The icons are 16x16, 24x24, and 32x32 pixels. You can modify them at your like.
