Quoteanontemp123 I'm using K-Meleon 75.1 on XP SP3. I originally found K-Meleon through PortableApps.com, but now I am using the regular release. Thanks for all the replies. I'm still sorting through what was written. I'm not a complete beginner; however, it's a lot to take in and the other threads I found weren't very clear to me. In my mind, I was thinking Script

Let's hope this is the last explanation for javascript behavior and permissions Preferences and actions javascript.enabled and command id navToggleJS Since K-meleon 75.0 javascript.enabled works using, internally, the command id navToggleJS since a change in Gecko core by Mozilla and after implementation of a secondary routine by K-meleon developer, Dorian. URGENCY: ULTRA HIGH NPSWF32_18_0_0_343 (ESR) Versions prior to this one are being exploited very actively to drop ranswomware (virus that encrypt local files) and looks like are able to run the dropped virus (what still amazes me if this is confirmed).

Quotesiria QuoteJohnHell Quotesiria Dropbox used to be great, but meanwhile cannot download anymore with KM1.6/1.7 https://www.dropbox.com/s/9shax320p8a05yl/places.sqlite?dl=1 I haven't tested on 1.6 but should work. I do this when I don't want to switch javascript on (most of the times) with 75.0. Ha - THANK YOU!!! What a neat trick, works like a charm in 1.6 too - glad I c

Quotesiria Dropbox used to be great, but meanwhile cannot download anymore with KM1.6/1.7 Perhaps anyone else could have a look at that file? Makes more sense on a modern machine anyway. https://www.dropbox.com/s/9shax320p8a05yl/places.sqlite?dl=1 I EDIT to say I haven't tested on 1.6 but should work. I think it is because you are using K-meleon 76/Firefox 38/Gecko 38. For me it doesn't play in K_meleon 75.0, nor even Firefox 31... Am lazy to even have a look at the console for the culprit script.

Quotepjpw2320 Does this ring a bell with anyone? No, not much. The only thing I can think about right not is, or a transparent ISP proxy, or cache settings in K-meleon. But, still, strange, and only happening with one site.

I'm intrigued as well. I would like to have a try on that skin too, if it is using the default macros, and, if not, the macro code attached to that icon/menu entry. Weird enable Oracle Java to run YouTube

Apart from, when not using the compatible mode, it displays the resource hungry HTML5 player, all is fine here with 75.0 browsing inside youtube.com pages. Tested in a fresh profile as well. Any URL, if not all, and without any privacy concern to test with?

Most probably, hardware accelaration. Change the preference layers.acceleration.disabled to true, in about:config, and restart K-meleon. If still happens, might be anything else, as your graphics drivers support or others.

As I said in a "similar" thread, individual dictionaries can be downloaded from OpenOffice extensions repository. They are just renamed .zip files so open, extract the .aff and .dic files to dictionaries folder and voilà: http://extensions.openoffice.org/en/search?f[0]=field_project_tags%3A157

I reported that in 75.1 in Windows 2000, if I'm not wrong. But as in XP didn't happen, it wasn't fixed.

For me work always, regardless of the Nth times I toggle on and off :-? But I think you refer that the full left click functionality stops. As I said, this is because, for example, with the buttons in this edit area, there isn't any href, so nothing can happen. And the side effect I commented previously, that the enter/intro keys are affected as well. Anyway, I'm with you, an

Ok, tested. I was wrong. Mine didn't work either Actually, it goes beyond, @Siria and it isn't the double quotes "", but anything it isn't a macro. A command also disables it. So, lets use a macro, the only thing accepted, to tell it to just open($LinkURL); Note that I removed the cascading, just in case, and I placed the macros in order of parsing, but the code ha

I'm pending on test the latest version of JamesD macro, but, my last posted version, worked toggling the accel infinite number of times. My initial guess is that you are cascading the menu/button toggling and that makes the code to get stuck. They could be separated and then call the accel change.

Let me abuse of the wiki system. To find what was removed (red text) and what was added (green text), it may help, even it mixes a little the removed and added positions, to find out the changes: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/wiki/diff;MacroDevKMLClick?version=2 The green in this diff are mines, after your posting above. We won't be able to delete wiki pages, but would work as kind of a

EDIT: the window or tab is not needed as when tabbed browsing is not enabled, it opens a new window instead. Ufff that will need change to INT preference, at least. And the menu items. Or adding a new preference. Is it really needed? xD Anyway, I found a glitch and it is that playing with lbutton accel affects INTRO key functionality in submit forms (as search fields) as INTRO works there a

Quotefoliator Strange! My hosts file doesn't seem to have any effect on K-Meleon, yet I notice in Firefox that some of the URLs I blocked in my hosts file can't be loaded in YouTube's side bar; this is without any ad blocker at all. This is the second time I read this to you. First time I preferred to stay in silence, but... There is only one scenario where this can happen: p

I fixed a couple of dumb mistakes I found (above code) when I was trying to imagine how to use setbuttonimg :-? but no clue.

Alternatively, use control+mouse wheel, if yours has, to change page zoom. That tells a page how wide and tall (zooming out) is your browser viewport, without changing the screen pixels dimensions. Note that, in this case, you'll need to zoom in the text or it could become so tiny.

@JamesD, I was wrong. It can be changed and I think I misunderstood you above. EDIT: I know how to set icons in toolbars but via toolbars.cfg, with macros... it is another history :-? Siria could tell. This works, but fix it, I'm not the best with macro coding guidelines: # K-Meleon Macros (http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?id=MacroLanguage2) # # ---------- KMLCli

Yes, that is what I expected in my initial thought, that we can't dynamically change an accel through setaccel. The intention here is to let the user edit his profile accel.cfg and add/change lbutton to what I wrote: LButton = macros(lbutton_open) (I'll try the macro now, I was offline all these hours)

Then: LButton = macros(lbutton_open) and the macro for lbutton_open, check for a preference value, if true, open, if false, opennew. Note: this is not an actual macro, just a functionality one example.

There should be possible through the context menu of spellchecker. If you don't see any other language, go here and download the oxt file of the desired language, that actually is a zip file, and extract the .aff and .dic files to the dictionaries folder in the root path of you K-meleon installation. You should see a new language added (you may need to restart K-meleon). http://extensi
