Quotesiria Or calling the macro only manually, only when needed, not automatically after every page load ($OnLoad). The catch is that would of course require again a shortcut/menu/button, but if you don't mind that it's another possibility. In that case the toggle could be included. I leave enhancements and changes to any of you It is open to anyone who wants to make changes

Quotefoliator BTW, sometimes the file downloads as "videoplayback" without an extension, but it's easy to add the extension and rename the file later. At other times, the file comes down already properly named with its title and the MP4 extension. As posted, that is up to the script developer. Remember to check the github page for updates!! OH GOD I JUST FOUND THE GITHUB PR

Quotefoliator Now I'm going to try inserting the HTML5 Disabled statements at the very top of the download macro; maybe it will disable HTML5 automatically prior to the download. Then I can always toggle HTML5 back on later. Emmmm, no, that won't work. Placing a toggle at the beginning of the macro will do nothing unless you invoke it. And the macro is just invoked on load (using

Quotefoliator The macro works for me, too. However, while some of the videos download properly, others immediately start playing in the browser's HTML5 player instead of being downloaded, and I can't successfully save them that way. I generally leave HTML5 enabled; would it help if I disabled it for use with this macro? In that case, if the video opened in my offline media player I coul

Quotesiria Yes too tiny fonts are a pain! My own minimum size is permanently at 14 with font Verdana, works quite well. No idea why the KM-default is zero, or what this could be good for?? Because 0 means default font size, or in other words, 1em, and more to earth words, 12pt or 16px. But 1em is different for each font. Verdana, in fact, has an em higher than other fonts, that is the reaso

Quoteguest Any idea how to get "YouTube Videos as MP4" working? It's available as a plain userjs or .xpi extension: https://github.com/gantt/downloadyoutube It has no toolbar buttons or menus, it only adds a download button to YouTube. Thanks! QuoteJ.G. http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?3,142035,142161#msg-142161 Please, read the content from above link. Then copy the new suggested UA text and add it to a new UA string. It works per session, so I always test it first at http://www.whoishostingthis.com/tools/user-agent/ or writing 'whats my user agent' in Chrome. It's very easy to add a new UA, but I still have

QuoteYogi Only explanation I can think of: I was testing on Win7 while I assume that you made the test on Win2k. Yes. QuoteYogi So IMHO this doesn't look like a regression but rather as defective code. Or none of them. This deserved to give a try to the torture (slow to hell) of the virtual machine with Windows 7 and this is the result. I tested twice just in case my own perso

Quotesiria QuoteJohnHell @-moz-document domain(yr.no){ div.meteogramme-img{ float:none!important; } } EDIT: but I'm testing and the tables are block :-? Not sure if it matters, but there's a blank missing after "none" CSS can be written without any space, new lines, etc. In fact most of CSS files out there are this way to save some bytes. Might be a regression in Gecko 38. Except for some details in the king face, there isn't much difference.

QuoteYogi - Speaking of SVG files Try to open this SVG-file with K-Meleon based on FirefoxESR 38 and see what you get. Newer FirefoxESR have improved and are displaying the SVG-file fine. Ancient Opera Presto v12 displays the SVG-file also fine. Ok, not Gecko 38, 31 instead in K-meleon 75.0, but there is no difference between K-meleon and Opera 12 :-? Aside it takes ages to load on both

There you have, now that 25th is at the top, the image (actually an SVG) overlays over the table. Looks the oposite, the table overlays the SVG. Ok, it is a rendering issue. Certainly a bug from our Mozilla friends. Supposedly, a table is a block element and for whatever reason it is displaying inline without any CSS rule involved :/ But also, comes a question, why the site develo

Quotegordon451 sometimes it's nice to have a fault-tolerant browser :s :END EDIT Note that K-meleon is as tolerant as Firefox. Non the less they use the same rendering engine. But have in mind that, even if it is a problem in the site coding, or a new CSS rule not supported, the browser can't do anything. It is responsibility of the webmaster to check and test for compatibilit

Then it is what I initially posted and then I deleted, because in 75.0 works, that I remember to read that there were some bugs and Dorian decided to take the straight route and used the places.sqlite database. There is no way to only remove some items from places.sqlite database (that I know of) if you don't do it manually and even doing this manually, there are loads of crossed referenc

The better (and looks like Dell doesn't give much information) add a few more RAM to it. But I was 3 years ago, in emergency status on a Pentium 200 Mhz and I had no much problems, but with a lot of patience. About the acceleration, go to about:support url and find this line: GPU Accelerated Windows If it tells something as basic or none. Then or almost nothing, or nothing.

Quotefoliator Those two issues are more critical than the missing images in The Guardian, so I guess I'll stick with KM 75. Back to the stable But are you using 75.1? As I told above, in Firefox 31.7, or Gecko 31.7, as you prefer, it works. K-meleon 75.1 is based on Gecko 31.8, so if something got fixed then, should work in 75.1. Otherwise there might be some pref, as you pointed in

I have no clue either, but I found what may be the culprit here. You could always use archive.org, if the page is available, as a clean source: https://wayback.archive.org/web/20160428103016/http://www.babelstone.co.uk:80/Software/BabelMap.html And if you don't trust the file, use sites as Jotti : https://virusscan.jotti.org/ TIP: if your paste and then click F2 key, it will search it too.

I uploaded the version 9.0.0.1 of BabelMap, compressed with UPX to save disk space, as this is a Win32 compatible application and maybe could work with kernelex in Windows 98. I have no idea, anyway, but you could give a try. http://www.mediafire.com/file/0d7jfq7y2y29cjn/babelmapupx+9.0.0.1+2016-07-03+unicode+9.0.7z I also contacted the developer and the next version should be compatible wi

You are focusing on paper size and that is just one of the problems. I say this because you didn't find yet, for example, that the paper size set in Gecko preferences are just browser preference, but at the time of print, the valid paper size is the one set in the printer dialog settings. So that means, that even if you set letter, or custom width/height, the last word to shrink to fit an

Quotelepicsaintloup I can confirm that I am seeing what is described here, but it's not even sticking for the tab that I have open. Just some ideas. Try to go to about:config and if you have it, reset (set to empty) the preference print_printer. (One of the problems I see with Firefox and K-meleon is that you can't set a default printer, it defaults, if I'm not wrong, to the l

Yep and I already tried, but looks like per printer settings sometimes act more as a container for default setting when printing for that printer then the actual print settings used. But a I never confirmed this. It is just... I don't know. Maybe someone explains it to me some day. It's the same as the margin units. Time ago, when I searched for it, some people said that some whe

Since K-meleon 7x.x print has been trickier than before. I shyly reported it in the development of 7x version (I can't tell one but searching the forum will bring) because there are several print options. For your problem, my guess is that you go to "File menu > Page Setup", you remove it, but open a new window (I don't know if it happens to tabs) and when you go to t

Quotesiria The modern version only partly: http://getemoji.com/ All are displayed here. They should be displayed as well with Symbola in Windows 98. Quotesiria For copy-paste.... Even though for Windows 98 it supports only until Unicode 5.1 (we are in 9.0), you can use BabelMap. Or maybe it does run the newest, but I doubt it. Even for Windows 2000, from 9.0.0.1 to 9.0.0.3 he dropped
