Then it is what I initially posted and then I deleted, because in 75.0 works, that I remember to read that there were some bugs and Dorian decided to take the straight route and used the places.sqlite database. There is no way to only remove some items from places.sqlite database (that I know of) if you don't do it manually and even doing this manually, there are loads of crossed references bet

The better (and looks like Dell doesn't give much information) add a few more RAM to it. But I was 3 years ago, in emergency status on a Pentium 200 Mhz and I had no much problems, but with a lot of patience. About the acceleration, go to about:support url and find this line: GPU Accelerated Windows If it tells something as basic or none. Then or almost nothing, or nothing.

Those two issues are more critical than the missing images in The Guardian, so I guess I'll stick with KM 75. Back to the stable http://s19.postimg.org/5707mzs5r/biggrin.gif But are you using 75.1? As I told above, in Firefox 31.7, or Gecko 31.7, as you prefer, it works. K-meleon 75.1 is based on Gecko 31.8, so if something got fixed then, should work in 75.1. Otherwise there might be s

I have no clue either, but I found what may be the culprit here. There is a http connection to this site and a json report about something being blocked. https://beacon.gu-web.net/csp-report { "csp-report" : { "document-uri" : "https://www.theguardian.com/international", "referrer" : "", "blocked-uri" : "http://media

You could always use archive.org, if the page is available, as a clean source: https://wayback.archive.org/web/20160428103016/http://www.babelstone.co.uk:80/Software/BabelMap.html And if you don't trust the file, use sites as Jotti ;): https://virusscan.jotti.org/ TIP: if your paste and then click F2 key, it will search it too.

I uploaded the version 9.0.0.1 of BabelMap, compressed with UPX to save disk space, as this is a Win32 compatible application and maybe could work with kernelex in Windows 98. I have no idea, anyway, but you could give a try. http://www.mediafire.com/file/0d7jfq7y2y29cjn/babelmapupx+9.0.0.1+2016-07-03+unicode+9.0.7z I also contacted the developer and the next version should be compatible wit

You are focusing on paper size and that is just one of the problems. I say this because you didn't find yet, for example, that the paper size set in Gecko preferences are just browser preference, but at the time of print, the valid paper size is the one set in the printer dialog settings. So that means, that even if you set letter, or custom width/height, the last word to shrink to fit and/or d

I can confirm that I am seeing what is described here, but it's not even sticking for the tab that I have open. Just some ideas. Try to go to about:config and if you have it, reset (set to empty) the preference print_printer. (One of the problems I see with Firefox and K-meleon is that you can't set a default printer, it defaults, if I'm not wrong, to the latest printer, or something like

Yep :) and I already tried, but looks like per printer settings sometimes act more as a container for default setting when printing for that printer then the actual print settings used. But a I never confirmed this. It is just... I don't know. Maybe someone explains it to me some day. It's the same as the margin units. Time ago, when I searched for it, some people said that some where in met

Since K-meleon 7x.x print has been trickier than before. I shyly reported it in the development of 7x version (I can't tell one but searching the forum will bring) because there are several print options. For your problem, my guess is that you go to "File menu > Page Setup", you remove it, but open a new window (I don't know if it happens to tabs) and when you go to that new win

The modern version only partly: http://getemoji.com/ All are displayed here. They should be displayed as well with Symbola in Windows 98. For copy-paste.... Even though for Windows 98 it supports only until Unicode 5.1 (we are in 9.0), you can use BabelMap. Or maybe it does run the newest, but I doubt it. Even for Windows 2000, from 9.0.0.1 to 9.0.0.3 he dropped the possiblity

Siria, I already told in this forum earlier, as earlier as, at least, the YesScript macro (when you asked about the forbidden symbol), when I said that if you wanted to see UTF-8 icons (characters, actually) you needed those fonts. In fact, I use Symbola (free to use): http://users.teilar.gr/~g1951d/ Anyway, going on topic too, the problem with these characters is that not all users have

The interesting point is this one: It's not XP, but K-Melon 76 Pro happens to work very well in Windows 2000 with Extended Core. I'm using it to type this post, in fact. If I remember right, JohnH can only run KM75.0 on his Win2000 - or confusing something now? Actually, I can run 75.1 too (but I don't use it because of the graphical glitches). 76, with kernel wrappers, didn't work.

Where I'd find dates and times most useful, would be Bookmarks Actually, you have dates in bookmarks. They aren't displayed when hovering, if you are requesting something like that, but they can be viewed with the bookmarks editor. It shows the date added and the last time you clicked on it to visit the site (not the last time you visited it, despite the descriptive text).

...history modification... I browsed through the Development forum, etc. Does the Latest Development Release, K-Meleon 76 RC or K-Meleon 76 Pro, contain such fine updates? The RC and RC2, being official, no, not yet as the date of I released my changes. For the unofficial custom version, called Pro, by rodocop, only him can answer it. Or download it and test it ;)

Whatever was or was not patched did not stop the problem. Totally correct. As it was a "dropper". Or in human words, an attachment in a mail, or an URL in a mail that people followed, downloaded and run :/ People no following a minimum set of precautions. Not a new story. The bigger impact here was the spread across the LAN, as a worm, through that SMB vulnerability.

Really hundreds of MB? with the direct link above it is only 5.5MB :S But it's also true that that small video, being just slightly bigger than 720p, eats loads of CPU time. P.S.: Moved.

It does happen to me, but I'm with Gecko 31 browsers (K-meleon 75.0, Firefox 31). But, instead, why not downloading the real video. This trend about .gifv is a way to hide a real .mp4 file without sound. The file is at: High definition: https://giant.gfycat.com/RecklessDirectBlobfish.mp4 Mobile version https://thumbs.gfycat.com/RecklessDirectBlobfish-mobile.mp4 I really hate th

(Perhaps we should split this into a new thread for Old Hardware or Systems?) I'd better delete the messages. There is no need for a new thread, just stop talking this off-topic xD I fixed above because looks like I'm saying 2GB each file, no, by each I mean, 2GB read and write. For me, off-topic ended ;)

JohnHell, I think this could help you now. No telling how long we could need to wait for a version of KM which could reread macros without a restart. You would need 128 MB of ram that you could commit to this. I know you have older ops sys and hardware. Hope this can help. Yep, and that is the problem. I already use a RAMDisk for the cache and, partially, for the profile (not strictly

 - If for any reason postimg stops its image hosting service, the macro will stop working as expected. Yes that part is obvious. For that case it helps a bit if at least the images had a telling name. BBCode doesn't allow ALT or TITLE text, so, no way. Using a personal macro for that purpose would be useless, as visitors won't see those ALT and/or TITLE. Not my fault, again

Okay thanks. Actually I'd prefer to allow usage elsewhere too, just thought you had written somewhere not to. Perhaps remember wrong. I remember I said, somewhere, other thread I guess, that the smileys would be available depending on the availability of postimg, that if they don't display, is not my fault, or something like that. Concerned that, in someways, I was hotlinking and postim

JohnHell, in other words - we need something like command to 'ReInit' or 'ReSetup' browser without restart - yes? I ignore what ReInit and what ReSetup are, but yes, something to coding macros without continues closes and opens when some stupid bug of you own breaks a macro.

Now wondering, before publishing it for other users, do you mind if my menu macro includes the same postimg-links as yours? There is not restriction on bandwidth or such, AFAIK, so use them. I see you placed in kmm: "external smilies hosted by JohnHells macro, use only for KM-Forum" If you don't want to use them any other site, just place a domain check for kmeleon.sour
