The permissions problems are with the OS, not K-meleon.

The RV has ALWAYS meant Gecko revision (or render version, I'm not sure about this) a.k.a. Gecko version and since the madness version numbering (that started after Firefox 4 or 5, I can't exactly remember), as Firefox version too.

Would you believe that aggressive posters can actually call Dorian an a**hole, if googletranslate is correct OOOhhhh. You meant those!!, yeah, quite aggressive user yes. I was scratching my head about what messages were so rude, because in english or other languages, besides this thread and that other one, I couldn't remember much public exhibitions of rage like that. I think he is not

Nevermind. It was time to move to another browser anyway. After years that i used KM and loved it , it is not updated anymore and some sites don't render at all or little (facebook image loop problem etc). Maybe some time in the future i will return to KM, but until then FAREWELL ! http://s19.postimg.org/nef4oaiq7/triste_ani3.gif :( Bye. But I only can say that I could login and o

@John: he's obviously using a modern version, that has no icons any more, just pure text buttons Oh, true, skin.cfg was introduced in 75 or 75.1 Anyway, this text is still valid: Advertising{ macros(KM_ToggleAdblock) Block Advertising }

JohnHell
Open your toolbars.cfg that depends on your skin by Edit > Configuration > Toolbars Append the following to the privacy bar (you can find it by searching "Privacy Bar" text). All buttons inside the Privacy bar will look as the next text. So place it wherever you like, between the curly brackets that define the privacy bar {}. Advertising{ macros(KM_ToggleAdblock)

As you can see the cookie for resolution (mentioned by JohnHell) was set. It doesn't seem to have any negative impact and I can browse the forums without problems. As shown in the video, not all pages have conflicts with that cookie.

I don't know what you do with your user agent, but when I get an empty page, the only way to load the page is to remove the resolution cookie. Once done, it loads every "empty page". :-? For me is another X-files site candidate.

Looks like it works for each one in different ways and all may be site related, so moving from Bugs to General forum.

Ok, here is how it works for me. I haven't tested all features, but looks how it is related to that cookie to the access to certain pages. http://www.mediafire.com/file/ol286csdsvqd83q/kmloginforumfree.7z If you can't view the video inside that 7z file, use this site to convert it to your system capabilities on playing videos: https://video.online-convert.com/

You actually get logged in. It's about the cookie named "resolution". Delete it and you'll be able to login again, but be aware that it will be re-created again, and again, and again if you enable JavaScript, because it will write it again. NOPE , i can't find it. I deleted all the cookies, same result. Later I'll try to make a video to show it. Unless you e

I don't know anything about the site, but look usable without JavaScript, so you may live with it. You can toggle JS with F7 key, by defa

No, no hace falta tener Firefox. ¿Podrías poner una captura de pantalla del error? Lo más probable es que sea una dependencia que falta en XP, pero sin más información, no sabría decir.

I did notice that the html5 video player using adobe primetime won't expand videos completely in full screen mode (not mistaking this for theater mode). It always leaves room for the title bar at the top and controls at the bottom, even if they "disappear" after inactivity. Kind of annoying as flash would always expand the videos completely. Anybody else experiencing this? It'

No, @siria, that's not possible. I'm basically talking about adf.ly, that is the most common and what I have most found in the past, but they usually have a javascript countdown until a button, link, or whatever, with the target URL is displayed. Actually, I would say built as it is not hidden in the source code. Even sometimes you need to allow third party scripts, frames or whatever, because

"Correct me if I'm wrong but I think you may be talking of "short" links like adf.ly and subspecies, but those, and that's the reason I wrote between quotes, are not shortened links." False. They all are shortened links due to their redirect power. You misunderstand what those shorteners (not adf.ly and similar) do. A shortener just works answering with a 301 or a

You can google for a lengthy explanation, but there are many shortened URLs that cannot be expanded. I tried GetLinkInfo and several other sites. Apparently, the shortened URLs I entered are not expandable. Most sites I visit don't overuse popups. Unfortunately, I must go through several of these link shrinker sites. They're all drowning in popups. The basic K-Meleon popup blocker doe

By the way, in what way is Brave related to this topic? Just, for me, because it's spam ;) A+ What are you talking about? Everybody is talking about browsers, including The World and Slimbrowser and you are getting annoying by my contribution? What kind of spam could be to say that I hope someday Kmeleon has a better development? Also I said that I STILL PREFERS KMELEON. Please read bette

GetLinkInfo, haven't failed to me yet. It follows redirects till no more and then displays the actual URL. I don't use the built in K-meleon search engines, but it can be added easily though the control panel as it works the same way. Just add a new search engine as http://getlinkinfo.com/info?link= and let the magic works. I started to use this one when longurl.com stopped working
