nikel, it's OK - last version do not vary too much (almost at all) when it touches k-plugins (those dll files to localize) and their strings. The only dll that is really growing there is the main one - kmeleon.dll: read that post by Dorian P.S. This effect tells you that KM itself handles encoding right. But when it reinitializes macro strings get buggy - it means that your OS handles cyrillic string in wrong way and sends wrong values to KM.

This is a known effect of l10n in KM since it learns to switch GUI lang without restart: some menu items, provided directly by macros (not all macros - we need to understand which exactly), don't switch to new lang till restart. Tested in some editors and in one of Chrome clones. Yes, it seems to behave so (but in command line of TC it deletes all after the cursor). But KM handles URLbar by itself so only Dorian decides how it's done. Post a feature request in corresponding subforum.

I just can help you with one little trick. It is related to the background play. Just switch focus to other tab (if no one exists - simply open it) than video playing - and CPU load of K-Meleon will fall to about 2-3 times! For example when I watch some video on my netbook (Intel Atom N450) KM loads CPU up to 60-70%. But when I switch it to next tab it immediately falls to 16-27%.

I think so too as AutoIt wasn't actively developed after your version (current is 3.3.14 as I can recall). And I have read that statement. But I think that modifier keys (like Ctrl) handlers cannot be treated as Unicode or something else in terms of encoding... Well, let's use what we have. Better than nothing for those who needs it.

All I can suspect is that your Cisco needs IE for some reason. Or may be web-interface is based on some type of 'timeouted' JS. Try to change the pref 'dom.max_script_run_time' to some value (in seconds) reflecting the real time of firmware update process - and see if this changes anything. Or try another instance of KM instead - just to clear things up.
