Quotedesga2 PriorTabs.kmm is a macro in test status, are you sure to read full thread (2 pages) and get it the last code and fixes? When this macro will be revised, it must be added to MacroLibrary. Yes you are right, I copied the code from this message : Re: Re-Open Tabs Macro Posted by: JamesD Date: June 30, 2009 06:12PM i.e. on page one. Looking forward to a final version !

I did that : reinstalled PriorTabs, restarted KM, went to the Error Console and there's nothing in it !

Quotesiria Yikes - why that?? No prob here. Some incompatibility with some other macro perhaps?? What does the error console say? Make sure the KMM button is checked. In case it's vanished from tools, go to this page: chrome://console2/content/console2.xul (I've set it as Home Page since I'm experimenting a lot and occasionally manage to kill the macros.dll, then the error co

I have the Close Tab button showing which has a small context menu in which there is the option to Undo Last Closed (tab) - I was wondering if it would be possible (and difficult) to add a sort of History to that option which would allow you to choose which previously closed tab you would like to Undo...? What do you think ?

Quoteseeker Can anyone post for me or direct me to a listing of security software which does not have to run in the background to provide protection? That would be software that does not have to run as a regular program or as a service. So it would not show as a running process or application. And it would not show anything under "Services". Thanks to everyone who can post any prog

Hi panzer - sorry I didn't get back to you earlier ! I was very impressed with your latest story : strong characters, rich dialogs and very imaginative - and you have a wide-ranging vocabulary which makes for pleasant reading. No I wasn't shocked, it would take a lot more to shock me. Thanks again and keep it up ! Martin.

Quotedisrupted(unlogged) mhf, i found a similar service to ghostery called privacy choice and made a macro based on their bookmarklet http://www.privacychoice.org/trackerwatcher/download it doesn't seem to be working on all sites..not sure if because some sites are safe, so it doesn't trigger a popup? Nice one disrupted - it's true that it doesn't seem to work on all si

It is not that web bugs or beacons are "dangerous" in themselves, it is more about what they do and what they are there for - if you are interested read this long post.

"web bugs/beacons" are tiny (sometimes one pixel) spy cookies inserted in web pages or html emails - you can't see them but they track your web habits and know whether you opened a particular page or email. Web bugs You can usually block these with Proxomitron and a bit of hard work and/or an up-to-date Hosts file.

Thanks SoerenB - I have more or less followed the recent discussions on Groups2 but never got round to trying it, I have now ! And desga it looks like I'm late again with my ideas, as usual, but tell me which way do you think it will go : direction Sessions or Groups2 or a mixture of the two ?

This one might be impossible or very difficult : I often open KM (yes I close it sometimes) for a particular site or two (I don't use a home page) and then open one of my saved sessions which of course wipes out the open tabs - SO I was wondering about an option in Sessions where you could add a session to open tabs. I think Sessions runs through a plugin ??? so any coding from my side is

Learning something every day makes KM happy - and me. Thanks for the updates about different ways of doing this and especially the exclamation mark... siria, sometimes I want links (targets) to open in a new tab but not all the time...! I started this thread as I'm a mouse-and-context-menu freak and was particularly annoyed when, an example among many others, wanting to look at some sc

Could someone help me code this - in the page context menu we have : Open in New Tab Open in Background Tab Open in New Window Open in Background Window how can I add Open in This Tab...? Which would of course open a link in the same tab. I know that some links on some sites are hard-coded to do this but many are not. Thanks.

Thanks all - I've got it now : when on the KM Extensions pages the menu entry become active, if you use it the chosen extension will be automatically installed and KM restarted.
