That's what I first thought too, but mousegestures work *only* with right button... or I misunderstand your post above? (no wonder ;-)

Ah, didn't think of that... just middle-clicking is so much easier: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/wiki/faq#mouseaccels But if he really prefers RIGHT-clicking and dragging, we could make him an own little popupmenu. Any idea which version he's using?? ------------------- Ah, no había pensado en eso ... sólo media-clic es tanto más fácil: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/wiki/fa

At the moment someone requests this here http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?9,136186,136244#msg-136244 But I'm using one myself since many years, a self-created button for UndoLastClosed, with Sessions-List on right-click, and couldn't live without it. Use it all the time, for opening last closed pages and opening sessions. Please prepare such a button in the default toolbars

QuoteJohnHellHe only wants the last closed tab, but what also is searching for is to restore the last view. If he were in the middle of the closed tab, restore that tab in the middle of the page. Guys... Guess what?! Just nearly fell out of my chair when finally testing my own macro on Vista now - and "Undo Last Closed" scrolled perfectly fine by itself already!! And also noticed su

John can do JS a LOT better, no need for us clueless ones to struggle :cool: Just a snippet from an old macro, if it helps anyone: # Syntax: $JS_doit="scrollBy(0,scrollByPages(-1))" for page, or "scrollBy(0,-60)" for e.g. 60 pixel up $URL=="example.com" ? $JS_doit="scrollBy(0,-500)" : 0 ; $JS_doit=="" ? 0 : &JS_hndlDoc;

John, I understand rather little here using google translate, sounds much confusing. But can you explain what's it about the translation macro? It works quite well I think. You can select some text since years, just right-click and hit "Translation". Or a whole page by using Tools>Translation. Am only finding a little prob right now in KM1.6, in "selected" text t

Would not delete it completely, or it's not there when you need it. To move it lower, you can open main.kmm and change this line: setmenu(ImageView, macro,"&Reload Image",JS_reloadImage,ID_VIEW_IMAGE); into setmenu(ImageView, macro,"&Reload Image",JS_reloadImage,-1); General tip for everyone, most menu lines are defined in menus.cfg, some in macros (*.kmm), a

Yes updating is difficult if a lot was customized, but no, it's not that easy as you think. Therefore I can't see it happening anytime soon. There's just too much user stuff stored outside the profile in various places, e.g. skin button configs - unless a user has copied the default skin folder himself or is using another skin (and lately even has to copy the template toolbars.cfg

I'm absolutely with you, but am afraid on top of all those conscienceless people is also half their gov. Anyway, here goes again my little macro Save the blue text as file "twitterwatch.kmm" into your macros folder and restart. This is a raw first draft, if it works well enough for you we could think about adding little options... Also possible that it may need more fixing

Have an account. Wanted to recommand popman and searched around how to get emails from twitter when a followed account is posting. Searched and searched, found a dozen email-options for all sorts, but NONE for followed ones . Pfff... Okay, back to macros  EDIT: Arghh - macro deleted again Forgot that twitter shows the posting time not in hours/min, but "20min ago" etc, cha

Ha, finally got it working! After endless trial&error with all sorts of syntax tests: image.png[4,16,16] AARGH!!! And of course, now wanting to add this to my notes, find there this old link: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?9,132229,132317#msg-132317 Had only thought if searching in the macrolanguage-wiki. Syntax-examples for the new commands would be most important there.

How can one set a menu icon with a pic number by macro? Thought like this, but now finally tested and it shows nothing: setcmdicon("macros(FileOpenDir_last)", "menu1.png[4]"); An extracted solo-image without a number works fine. test macro here: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?1,136075,136079#msg-136079

2 macros for 1 user, quite a support And meanwhile realized mine didn't store anything if the pref didn't exist yet, oops... UPDATED mine too, fix in my post above (version 2.1) PS: the menu icon didn't work yet, now fixed too in v2.1 above  That's a brandnew command, had to figure out the syntax first.

Or do you use a fix folder for saving files? Not sure how much influence that has, but unlikely you want that, since you mentioned you're using different disks and folders. Anyway, better also check your Save-settings in F2>Browsing>File Handling

Hi, just did some testing now. But cannot confirm, in my browser there seems no difference in how file actions are handled: File>Open always opens the "last used" directory, regardless if that use was "save" or "open". As it should be. And whether it opens in a new tab or the same one, depends from the user setting for Typed Text: Edit > Preferences (F

While being at improvements wishes, currently have the prob that macros cannot check which URLs are open in other windows, and in current window a loop with ID_TAB_NEXT visibly flashes through all, looks a bit odd. Prob at hand, the QuickNote addon xul-page must first be closed before a macro can append new text to a txt-file. The old jar-addon at least allowed to reload an open QN-tab (how c

How to update? A popular question here and you usually get as many answers as regular posters pass by, as everyone has their own preferred method So... From KM75 portable to KM75.1 portable? ==> Step-1: If you customized the current DEFAULT skin, I'd first duplicate it: Open a file explorer, and make a copy of "KM75/skins/default" folder to a new NAME (e.g. KM75/skins/m

Yes we sure hope so too, but as guenter mentioned here http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?3,136021,136022#msg-136022 the developer is only 1 person with restricted free time and no one knows the future. Find it interesting reading here occasionally that KM is really faster as the big ones, which are supposed to be so ultrafast themselves, acc. to comparison tests in magazines (at lea

It's created by the javascript-line in the reload macro. And really giant, considering todays ultra flat monitors with shooting slit height (what an annyoing fashion, kept me from getting a replacement notebook with win7 awhile ago, absolutely no higher formats available, argh!) My JS skill are nearly zero, but did a bit trial and error and this "seems" to work fine with readme

Am afraid that's a very complex one, no idea if anyone can adapt soon :-/ For injecting styles manually the macros StyleonMini or StyleScriptia could be used, but doesn't work yet automatically by URL (if I recall correctly only in my unfinished follow-up version, but the configuration for users was rather complicated via editing kmm-files, probably too scary, then I was running out

Yes it's the normal checker-plugin, which now has an own entry in the Help-Menu, created in menus.cfg: "Check for updates" That allows to start an update-check manually too, not having to wait until it runs automatically. But since this is the same command that usually runs automatically and silent in background (no idea how often), it only shows a message if new updates are

Just tried to use the dll from KM75.1 in KM1.6, but no luck: Errors, errors, errors,... And adding exceptions doesn't help Luckily this site https://www.digicert.com/sha-2-compatibility.htm claims that Mozilla supports SHA2 since FF1.5!! KM1.6 has the engine from FF1.9.xx, so it should keep working, if it's system independant. I hope... The bigger prob is probably that KM1.6 only

Only have a dim memory about reading somewhere that CCleaner had some bug with Firefox, and that CCleaner was fixed... are you running the latest version? Or when you unzip and test the portable version of newest KM75.1, (which does NOT need uninstalling anything), does it crash too?

Hmm... you definitely have a settings folder in KM, or it's not KM... at least not a normal version from this site. Your prob with external links (from Desktop or local files I suppose?) is just a bit difficult. If there's no answer, it means none of us knows an answer, or we would have posted it ;-) But most of our little group here are just advanced users, not developers, so ju

QuotepantikThe only festure i miss is Save web as PDF. There are lots of free "virtual PDF-Printers" out there. They let you "print" in the browser to that "printer" and it produces a file on your harddisk instead of paper. Am not quite up-to-date and not using any since long, but here's a suggestion to start: ==> snapfiles.com/freeware/productivity/fwpdft
