Some sites tell this: "Your browser is not up to date" . I've tried the "general.useragent.override " to Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:31.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/38.0 K-Meleon/75.0 , it bypass the "your browser..." but after that when i uncheck the "User Agent Mode" Firefox Compatible, it doesn't do that, new pages remain in Compatibility mode. Thanks for the info about servo. Is it expected to run on Windows? Servo is a prototype web browser engine written in the Rust language. It is currently developed on 64bit OS X, 64bit Linux, Android, and Gonk (Firefox OS).

I don't think anyone has previously mentioned an error like the one you describe. Do you have any addon systems installed? Does this problem occur when the number of tabs is small or large or both? I just tested again in my KM 75.0 and nothing went wrong.

I read about that here: http://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2015/08/mozilla-sets-plan-to-dump-firefox-add-ons-move-to-chrome-like-extensions/ The addons only have a couple of years and then they won't work anymore. The extensions for FF will have to be digitally signed. Would our extensions need to be signed? How does one sign something? Where would we learn about the new API's?

2.JamesD,thanks for your test and I tried again, really strange the sessions(Undo) works now,but some closed tabs seem couldn't be stored,so can't be opened. Can you determine if there is anything special about the tabs that did not store?

I had a similar message in Win 10. JohnHell suggested that I give myself, as owner, full control of the folder where KM is loaded. That worked. http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?12,131783,134912#msg-134912

You don't select link. It only search for links in the selected text. Thanks. Now I understand that. You get it all the time or on specific pages? I just got the same messages for the area 'Home/News' through 'Development' at the top of this thread. So that is two times. Once with no selection and once with a selection.

Hi,somebody have tried the "Undo Last Closed" function on the tab bar right-click menu in KM75? Seems not work, but works well in KM74! I just tried that in 75.0 and 75.1 beta and it worked right for me in both browser versions.

I copied the zip contents into the km root folder but I don't know how to register it. I hope it is just the way you worded that statement. I hope you extracted all the content of the zip file. I used 7-Zip and extracted the zip file to my K-Meleon root folder. Then I opened the extensions.manifest file and added the following line: manifest block_content/chrome.manifest It w

OK, I have a control keyset included. I very seldom use them myself. That would require me to remember which keys to use, and at my age remembering is a chancy thing at best. linkstore.kmm # K-Meleon Macros (http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?id=MacroLanguage2) # # ---------- linkstore.kmm # ---------- Allow user to store link URLs and, on demand, copy the store to the cli

Quote JamesD I am very unsure about keyboard shortcut keys. What would happen if they were used when not on a link? I did not include them. Yep same prob here, that's why I want users to choose it themselves grinning smiley But we can still tell them HOW to do it themselves, by at least adding a hint in the kmm (or even prepare a commented setaccel): My question is no

If I correctly understand the need, then this might help. This macro adds an option, "Add link to storage", to the LinkSave menu and to the Tools menu an option called "Send stored links to clipboard". With it, one can add any desired link URL to the list, one at a time, and then move the complete list to the clipboard so it can be pasted. linkstore.kmm # K-Meleon Ma

Check on security permissions that you are the owner, and even if you are, re-apply to folder and children. YES! That worked. I gave creator/owner full control and also user Jim for the folder for KM. Now my KM that is in Program Files does start just fine.

I haven't this problem because I use K-Meleon75 in portable mode, with profiles in K-Meleon install folder. That is the same way that I have my KM's. I had them in 'Program Files (x86)' and had no problems before Win 10. I cannot write to them under Win 10. I did this to fix. I made a folder on C and named it 'KM_PGMS'. I extracted KM 75.1 beta there and I can run KM just fine now.

Overnight my laptop was upgraded to Win 10 pro and now I cannot get KM to start. I think it has to do with write privilege to my profile. I cannot understand why because I am running as administrator. I cannot edit and save a macro within my profile which is stored with my KM. The KM was in program files (x86). I guess I better find out where it is now if I can find out how with the new user

Following guenter's instructions, i need to rewrite cRestart addon for a firefox, after that cRestart will be compatible with kmeleon. What a bunch of nonsense :) A disgrace which could cause serious damage to kmeleon. Can you not use KM native restart or the restart2 macro for this? I am completely ignorant about addons, so my question may not make sense.

If you change the URL from the one you posted to be this http://www.imdb.com/ then I think it will work. You had https which called for secure, but their site shows that as being broken. Part of their page is not yet secure which is exactly what the message you got means. Please post back it this works for you.

The URLBAR highlight color macro has been changed to use the more simple function provided by Dorian. His had a small error but that is fixed and I have also added the _() translate parts to the user interface. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1522294/urlbarcolor.7z Dorian Many thanks for the information on the argument names. Also thanks for the update 4. A lot of things work or wo

After I got past my 'senior moment' if putting a capital I in an 'if' statement, I made good progress on the macro. urlbarcolor.kmm will allow user to compute and set the long color value for either the "browser.urlbar.highlight.secure" or "browser.urlbar.highlight.broken" pref. Requires that the user provide the RGB or Red, Green, and Blue values as decimal numbers and ei

I am unable to confirm. I typed "applehouse" in the URLBAR and used CTRL+ENTER and the applehouse page opened in a new tab for me. When you say "a link designed to open in a new tab" do you mean the link opens in a new tab by just clicking on the link, or do you mean that you right click and open the link in a new tab? I have not found a page where opening in a new tab by
