@ coucou8949 I don't know. Does the extension require a minimum Firefox version? I think the latest version upon which KM is built is 38 esr.

I see what you have, but I have no idea why. Looks like the tab is there, but only has a dot instead of text for title and the tab's text/buttons are missing. Only thing that I can think of to try is set the client edge to false and restart. Just an outside chance the edge made a change that the tab size could not handle. I think this has only a very small chance, but I have no other idea.

the whole screen turns white. Do you mean 'the whole screen' as the page display area, or 'the whole screen' as the entire KM window? I have just come across a site where the page display area was white. I was running with JS disabled. I enabled JS and did a forced reload. I was then able to see the page displayed properly.

Does Window Detective show a method to use JScript via WScript to add the property? I see that the software is on Sourceforge. I would like to have a way to add the property automaticly. My macro is a method (temporary) to allow user to set the value TRUE or FALSE. I cannot change the EDIT > PREFERENCES > GUI APPEARANCE > AT STARTUP panel. I think that is where the user should be able

Javascript is required to open photos. F9 is supposed to toggle JS. With JS enabled, I see pictures (larger) just fine. Using 76RC2.

For me worked adding the WS_EX_CLIENTEDGE property to the window of Afx:00090000:8:00010003:00000006:00000000 class that hosts the MozillaWindowClass. How did you do this? By the way, what are the macros for? Can you explain? Is it something that would modify the menu in the later releases? A macro is a special text file with commands that is read at KM startup. A macro can creat

This must be fixed in 76RC2. When I press cntl +, my zoom goes from 10 to 11, Pressing cntl - returns my zoom to 10.

Is the Perf the only thing to add? I am on holiday, working on an old laptop, and my eyes are not so good anymore. I cannot see if it changes my display or not. I made a macro. I am working with 76RC2. k_frame.kmm # K-Meleon Macros (http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?id=MacroLanguage2) # # ---------- k_frame.kmm # ---------- Temporary solution to allow user to show or no

Checking the "menu bar" option merely adds another bar containing buttons for the k-meleon page and k-meleon forum. I normally use Favorites, but I did just check to see if I could see a button to open the Bookmarks. I do see the button. I am running KM76, but I use a version of the Klassic skin. The button is on the left end of the bookmarks bar. I also had to go to view &

I am sure that I am not the best one on the forum to help you with this. I looked at the userstyles.org site and saw that for the style at which I looked, there was a view the CSS link. Just possibly you could copy that code and insert into your profile. Go to EDIT > User-Defined Stylesheet and paste the code, and save the file. If siria notices this thread, she knows more about this th

I am not sure about Greasemonkey, but K-Meleon has a MacroLanguage which is very powerful. K-Meleon Macros (http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?id=MacroLanguage2)

I decided to try 76 RC, but was surprised to find that my startup page http://localhost/index.php does not work. Instead, it is changed to http://www.localhost.com/index.php, and then it is reported that the URL does not exist. My KM 76 RC2 does not change the name, but does not find a file. Of course I do not have a localhost/index.php to be found. Physically, where is your file?

I guess I did not do something quite correct. Columns - I don't see any. I extracted the file from JohnHell and replaced the file by the same name in the omni.ja file in my KM 76RC2. The omni.ja file where I did the replacement was modified on 11/19/2016 and had a size 10,723,547. I made the zip and changed the name to omni.ja and replaced the one in the KM root folder. Did I not do somet

Might just have to pin shortcuts to that. That is what I do. One thing to remember is that this method creates a new profile. I then make changes to the new profile to keep preferences the same as in my previous profile. It might be possible to copy the contents of a prior profile over the new one. I have not tried that. Since I use Favorites rather than bookmarks, I have no need to m

Since K-Meleon is a 32 bit program, it should not have been in Program file folder. It should be in program files (x86). Having said that, I always make my KMs portable. I do not install. I went to C drive and made a folder called "KM_pgms". Since I created the folder, I have full authority there. Inside KM_pgms folder I make a folder for which ever KM version I wish. The most r

View source code takes about 1 second for 6536 lines of source code for me (K-Meleon 76 RC). I concur. I am using KM 76 RC2 on Win 10. What could be the reason for the strange behavior in my case? Not sure. I will try on another machine with less power and RAM later today. EDit: Slower cpu and less RAM did not seem to change anything.

James, just curious, do you only have 2 checkboxes on the ballot? Or are things like over here, the smaller players may be voteable but have zero chance anyway, so just as good as not existing at all? There are other candidates listed. Usually too small in terms of support to have any real chance. There is even a block where one can 'write in' a candidate not listed. I suppose I could

Is it fair game to talk web politics at this forum?. I would prefer that we not. This is the only place on the internet that has little or no politics. Ergo this is the only site I regularly visit. I am from the USA, but I did not pick a canidate in the recent election, because "None of the above" was not on my ballot. I have no idea if the leaks done by any specific grou

msea Look in this thread: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?9,140309 At the bottom of my first post there is an attachment. You will need to download that. Also get the file noted in the following: The attached file is not all a user must have for this to work. One needs a portable SumatraPDF. It should be placed in the KMroot\browser\plugins folder. I'm tempted to go with foxit first because of the tiny file size. But if it doesn't integrate like Sumatra does, or if it has other unwanted surprises, I won't bother try it. Not sure about Foxit. I have never tried that software. The Sumatra has a npp file which goes inside your KM profile and lets KM call Sumatra which is located in the same folder. I have no idea how Foxit operates.

The Republic of Plato - Ok, sounds good to me. I am using SumatraPDF within KM and it opened the file easily. Look in the Extensions section for my 'Print Preview' work-a-round. It has the information for putting a SumatraPDF into the KM. http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?9,140309 Note that you may need to remove or disable your current PDF software in order for this to work.

The item in preferences - GUI appearence - general - Hide K-Meleon app title bar for KM76RC2 does not reflect the state of the title bar. I found this when I looked for solutions for this item: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?1,140560 In my prefs panel the block was un-checked so I checked it and did a restart. I came up in KM without the title bar as expected. However when I went t

Possible regression? In a post that I made today in the Off Topic section there seems to be a difference in the appearance of the forum. See the pictures below. I do have js enabled both places. Is there another item that I should check? http://i.imgbox.com/DjTuoX0D.jpg http://i.imgbox.com/rlmx46ST.jpg
