KM is in portable mode if there is an empty file "profile.ini" in its root folder. Then the profiles are inside. Otherwise they are in the windows user appdata folder. Trick: after installation the portable mode is "switched" on or off by adding or removing that empty file! Nothing is copied or moved automatically by this, just copy over manually.

Don't know a way to restrict shortcuts to links... but perhaps try anyway? If your macro has a condition for a $LinkURL, clicks should do nothing outside of links. Yeah had forgotten it myself meanwhile too, but the fix was only to set the "cold" image correctly, that works. The side-effect is that "cold" also lands now on "hot"! This is with the old commands.
