If it happens after some little delay, try to change pref dom.max_script_run_time to for example 2 or 3. This should give you some more chance to get 'Unresponsive script' window and stop the script. The max script was 10 as default. I have tried 6 and 4 and I get a crash on the URL in first post. I will try 3 and then 2 to see what happens. Both 3 and 2 values for the dom.max_script_r

foliator I use IE favorites so I tried the new tab setting there. I first changed the setting from current tab to new tab in browsing general. Then I moved to plugins IE favorites. The setting was already changed there. Both places obviously refer to the same setting for IE favorites. I opened some favorites and each one opened in a new tab. If you can have two different settings in Ne

Please pardon my simple POV, but for this old man - the urge to harm others is mysterious to the point of being incomprehensible. (I don't even care for games where they portray folks getting shot, etc...) Pardon is not required. I am old, too and have much the same POV. Perhaps that is strange, coming from me. More that a half century ago, killing was my chosen profession for four ye

If I did not have bad luck, I would have no luck at all. Of course my internet service went out yesterday. I was going to post some code, but looks like it might not help. I will post it anyway, just so everyone will know the direction that I tried. It is not finished. I did not add the button yet. touch_URL.kmm # K-Meleon Macros (http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?id=Macr

@James: sure one of us can do that. Good idea! Would just prefer to see it tested first. PS: the prob is that he has NO keyboard, and the bug is that not even a virtual one opens automatically for input fields, as it should on tablets. All input fields? even prompt() and confirm() ?. If yes to above, then my work will not help.

I do not have touchscreen device, so let me ask this question please. Can you send quick keys, acelerator keys, or can you touch a button and obtain the action that you wish? I am assuming that an input box from a macro is seen as an input field. example: ALT + SHIFT + U

I have seven tabs loaded and the KM is at .7% and has 64.9 mb of memory. By the time I have found KM in the task list sometimes it has already dropped to 0% of CPU. I am running the newest 76 RC on Win 10 64 bit with 8 gigs of ram. Edit: Loaded a site playing a video and saw 9% CPU and 120.6 mb of memory used while the video played. After I closed that tab the CPU usage fell to 0 but the

I did a little more tests and found the bug is related to the options of what locations should be added to the URL bar list. In Preferences-->Browsing-->History-->URL Bar History-->Determine what locations should be added to the list, if "Any visited location" is chosen, I will get the bug after a couple of links visited. If I change the option back to "Typed URLs onl

And what about little lessons of macrocoding with practical examples? I got started, but age and infirmities have slowed the process. Load the Macro Language page in Local Documents and the try "find in page". Use 'Examples' and Match case and Highlight. I think this will find the ones that I have done. That text is in blue. Pick the five most needed macro statements for w

Looks like there is a bug with the URL bar. When you click the drop-down button of the URL bar, it always chooses a URL to go no matter whether you choose or not choose that URL. My OS is WINXP SP3 CHS. I am not seeing a problem here. Can you explain more? When I click the drop-down botton on the URL bar, a URL list pops up. Now if I hit the "ESC" key, Kmeleon will go to

I think we need some more information in order to provide help. Which version of K-Meleon are you using? What operating system are you using? Usually that message means that the page you were on was loaded with data from you. Now the system is asking if it is OK to resend the same data to the page to which you are being redirected.

The request was to have this list finally in clipboard. So that's it: load the ready list to clipboard and let macroinfo say something like: "All links are now collected in clipboard. Use Paste procedure to put it where you need" Does anyone know of size limit for clipboard? I think it is really big. I will have a try. Will try for "Page &Properties" as place f

rodocop Some other points to resolve:: 1) Where to put the menu for this? Page Properties does not seem right because not just one page's links. Tools or View, perhaps? 2) What text should the menu item contain? Right now it says, "All links in Window". 2.1) Macroinfo statement text? 3) Should the macro provide a method to view the output file? I plan to add some s

I am sure someone can improve on my method. A user could wind up with a VERY LARGE NUMBER of injectJS()'s. I have a fast system and do not notice much wait time. Someone needs to tell me where the menu for this goes. I have been testing in my test code area, but not that many users will be using IE favorites. A complete rename of the variables is required. This is the code as I have tested
