QuoteJamesD I had hope that this CSS stuff would help, but all that I could tell was that history no longer worked. /* -- check this for Yogi and siria +/ iframe { visibility: hidden !important; } Unfortunately this won't help. It's rather about blocking and in the meanwhile still offering the option to view the content. My bad if I didn't explain it better. Otherwis

Quotesiria The prob for macros is that they can only start any action AFTER a page has already fully loaded ($OnLoad event), not at the beginning of loading. I see. A macro won't do it. QuotesiriaSo from my (limited) point of view that wouldn't help you much. No, IMHO this wouldn't make any sense. It's not so much about me this time. I already have a working solution for b

QuoteJamesDWhat do you wish the macro code to accomplish? To block iFrames and also to display the blocked link at hovering. QuoteJamesDHow does one know if there is an IFrame? By scanning the page for the iFrame tag (+ source)? Examples for how they show up in web pages: <iframe src="/static/sys/pixel.gif" name="spon_vdz_countframe" width="0" height="

iFrame blocker that shows the url at hovering. In case one of our macro writers has some free time on her/his fingers it could be a helpful addition for blocking iFrames. There is no need for a dedicated image like in the picture below. "" would suffice. This way in case there is something the user would like to watch - like an embedded vid, she/he could do so by opening the link

QuoteSlickoneWhy enable or disable it? iFrames can be misused as mostly everything else. You can find more details about how, on the Internet. As far as I can see instead of improving it, the makers of Firefox have removed the option to block Frames in "about:config" - what's good for the advertising industry and scammers must be good for the user too.

There is no need to drag and drop to begin with. You get offered the option to place the bookmark in the folder of your choice, during bookmarking. It should be very hard to miss the chosen folder. See pic below:

"Clutter" generally means options. Chrome like "clean" and "lean" means almost no options. In order to quickly switch basic settings you'll need to download extensions. Keep in mind that you can remove all clutter/options you have no need for. There is almost no limit to customize the UI at your like. That's how my K-Meleon looks right now.

QuoteJohnHell moz_places is the table for the normal history. The column you are pointing to, is the title of the visited page. Those aren't the words in the form elements. Just in case you thought it. "ali baba" and "alma ata" were search terms I've used for testing. It's the only place were I can find those terms stored. After clearing them the search it

JamesD You can see in the picture below, previous search items which get stored somewhere. My question is, where are they stored? The question in the related post was, how to get rid of them?

I did now several tests with YouTube and always got the flash version. As soon as I delete the flash plugin I get the HTML5 version of the clip. Would you please give the YouTube link where HTML5 is the default.

Yogi
Either you install the Flash package from Adobe or you place NPSWF32.dll in the root folder of K-Meleon. As far as I can see, HTML5 is served by YouTube only if Flash plugin isn't detected.

Where does K-Meleon store used search items? After reading this post I tried to look up where search items get stored in K-Meleon. I can't see anything in my profile folder and hence my question.

QuoteJamesD I have made some settings changes, but none that I know to affect navigation arrows. I can try to make a list of changes if you think that would help. I don't think that it will be of any help. As you can see in the picture below, the kmeleon.exe file has the same size as yours but modified on 15-10-16 18:26. Whatever, I assume that we both are not the only one who are testi
