The MSFN web site has been down for about 5 days ... that I know of, maybe a day or two longer. I also use the 'New Moon' and 'Basilisk' browsers that you also currently supply weekly updates for, as you do with K-Meleon. I keep all three browsers on my computers ... only three browsers I am using in 2018. I am sure MSFN will be back up in the near future ... however, it

This is what I experienced earlier (4 months ago) ... never could find the downloaded files and I didn't bother to post anymore about it. They were somewhere on my computer but I couldn't find them. As newer versions of KM 77 were released the problem was corrected for me ... not by anything I did but the newer roytam1 weekly versions fixed something in my setup. I did all my down

As usual I don't quite understand everything when user agents are discussed. I don't do the Netflix steaming thing ... just get DVDs mailed through the mail every so often. However, I do have problems with a few other web sites (not many) and I'm always on the look for a new User Agent to try ... maybe it will work for these other sites also ... maybe better than what I am curre

Well all is working OK for me with version 12. I was behind on the versions ... they change fast ... a person has one version now ... puts some bread in the toaster, when it pops up, there's another version ready to go or so it seems. That little macro is really nice for everything that is offered. Good work siria and everyone helping her. callahan

Just installed Update Version 9 into the roytam1 KM version but none of the links near the bottom work for me. about: config and the others ... nothing opening up when I manually click on any link. Am I missing a step? Everything will open at the beginning with the little box popup.

For everyone ... while the KM web site was down there was a new New regular/weekly KM-Goanna release by roytam1 on 02 Mar 2018. He posted it at the MSFN website with also a New Moon update. He will probably post it here shortly but if you want it now here is the link. He usually posts a new KM-Goanna link there also ... so that is another place to check when the KM website is offline. The latest on the Telsa Roadster in Space ... I lifted this post from the MSFN forum, it has the latest information dated 13 Feb 2018. Starman and the red Tesla are really making tracks ... from the article below dated 13 Feb 2018. There is also a web site tracking the roadster ... new website ‘whereisroadster.com’. "According to new website ‘whereisroadster.com’, the very sp

J.G. ... thanks for your hard work putting this list together and also to siria for the 'education' of adding everything quicker. I think I did everything correctly ... when I go to the SSL Test page: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/viewMyClient.html#1517666680207&frame_loaded I get these last six entries in 'red' ... and they are all listed as 'WEAK'.

siria posted this on 25 Dec 2017 ... "What does still work nicely, are the old line-styling gimmicks! Form (wavy, dotted, dashed), color, thickness So if the goal is mainly to get rid of the red waves, just set the thickness to zero (e.g. by macro menu). This seems to work across all tabs. Or use an unobtrusive gray thin dotted line..." Where is this macro menu located? ... I lo

I happen to like the simple name K-Meleon 77 ... those 'double' sevens look nice ... they also look good when just used with 'KM 77'. ' ... actually I still like the look and name of 'K-Meleon 76' but I guess there has to be some sort of change to differentiate between the two browsers.

Yogi ... again thanks for more information. I have never used a 'chrome' browser over the years but they seem to be popular with some people. I have deleted my download. I guess what caught my interest was the one line. "Protection versus Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities." ... although I wasn't sure about the way it was said. I took it that you will have prot

smallhagrid ... thanks for the input on this browser. I downloaded it but did not try it out. There was a new build released today or yesterday by roytam1 and I worked with that. I may just pass on the chrome browser ... I have enough to keep me busy with the KM and New Moon updates. ...

JamesD ... OK, thanks for checking all this out. Maybe a 'guide' or a future fix of some sorts would be in order. There may be other people like me just not sure what to do or 'how much' to do. Maybe just marking the file as 'Read-only' would be enough ... maybe several steps or 'fixes' should be done ... just not sure on my part. callahan

Just a little confused on what steps to do. Maybe this is 'overkill' but I did this step first. Clear the contents of the 'SiteSecurityServiceState.txt' file located in the K-Meleon folder and then I set it to 'Read-only'. Also, as Yogi posted: "In KM-Goanna you can set - network.stricttransportsecurity.enabled to false to achieve the same result.&qu

I agree with your post: "(Try to make a software for idiots and you'll end up with a software used only by idiots. OK, the world is brimful of idiots.)" It was my hope for the new year - 2018 that all 'idiots' would finally be gone ... extinct like the dinosaurs ... but that's a lot to hope for. My advice ... be careful, try to avoid them ... hide in the bus

Chanson Yu ... something similar like that happened to me last week. I went to a link to read an article and in about 10 or 15 seconds the cpu started to rev up and the temperature started rising to 60 C. I am normally in the 40 to 50 C range. However, eventually everything froze up ... the whole computer. I could not close the web page with the X in the upper right corner. Other windows would

Well I still see no difference anywhere. What version are you using ... your own KM76 Pro or the newer roytami version? I have nothing showing up in 'about:addons'. Is Java Deployment Toolkit 7.0.50.5 necessary for this to work? I can't get it to fully activate ... is says 'Ask to Activate' ... 'Always Activate' is greyed out. Give me a good working lin

siria ... I remembered that I had posted some certs information earlier but I could not remember when or where. Heinoganda's certificate tool is still there and working. I use it for IE8 and my WinXP setup ... but it doesn't help with K-Meleon at all. I think I am correct in saying that. I asked heinoganda over at the MSFN forum some time back ... if a person really needs these c

rodocop - I have a question ... or two, probably more with your post from 31 Oct. Posted by: rodocop Date: October 31, 2017 10:56PM Just publishing a little update (made some time ago) ABP 2.8.2 for KM 76 (already preinstalled in KM 76 Pro) ------------------------------- I downloaded your version to add to the KM 76 version by roytam1. Everything seems to have installed OK. However
