Thanks again disrupted - if you do a scroogle on "controlling two sound cards in xp" you'll see that there are thousands of requests for information about how to do this very same thing ! So, maybe we won't be the only two to use it. Apart from that I had a few problems with the macro, for one thing I'm somewhat colourblind so red and green don't go well together

Wow, disrupted thank you ! You're right, I do like this one better, much easier to use and harder to forget (impossible to forget) which card is running...! Fantastic !

I can't say that I know what's going on but you could try running FileTypesMan, it might work better than Windows file types.

The scenario : I have a built-in sound card and a USB sound card (with mike and headphones) - I listen to the radio (RadioSure ! - the best) on the built-in sound card which outs to the speakers and I use the USB soundcard for Skype. However sometimes I would like to listen to whatever is streaming through the browser (K-Meleon - dare I say the best ?) via the USB sound card while leaving the ra

Hey MyProblem cool down - this is not that kind of forum, people here help each other and if they can't, then they say so that's all. If you want to insult people go elsewhere to do it.

Yes, that's true and it is a sort of work-around though clumsy - but pages open in the focussed page and not in a background tab as I usually like doing ...

Hi, is there a way of preventing the bookmarks drop-down list from disappearing when you click on a bookmark - I often want to open a few at the same time but you have to go through all the motions each time to open a new one ! Thankx.

Just being curious but why is there a sort of silhouette of Mickey Mouse behind the lizard's head ?

Got 'im ! In case this still interests someone I checked his email address on Pipl.com and there you can see his name, address etc. : he was born in 1992 and lives in High Ridge, Missouri, USA etc.... Traces, traces... he's all over the place, check the "more websites" link at the bottom of the page. And thanks for the Stop Forum Spam link, I didn't know of that s

True again, I checked this person's profile : it says he has posted 15 times whereas if you do a search on his username there is only the one post above - strange, another php mystery...

I totally agree panzer, this is one of the few forums where people don't get shouted at or excluded from for futile reasons - in fact it's one of the friendliest forums I know, let's keep it that way. It is also one of the most helpful (another one being donationcoder). Note that the link added by Ezri points to his own forum.

panzer - ProcNetMonitor crashes my PC. I had tried it a while ago but it crashed then too. Maybe a conflict with Comodo ?

Has anyone tried using VideoCacheView with KM ? - I entered the cache directory (C:\Program Files\K-Meleon\Profiles\14l9ocif.default\Cache) as temp file as well as k-meleon.exe as "other" browser but it doesn't work. Any ideas ? Thanks.

THANKS kko, that's perfect. Quotekko You just need to look at the tab "Manage Actions" in the mouse gestures configuration... ...I never thought to look there ...!

No help for me ? I have seen that there is no corresponding command in Commands.text but surely this shouldn't be that difficult to code ?

I'd really like to try and code this myself if someone can point me to where I can find these commands : top of page and bottom of page. I know you can do this with mouse gestures but I'm a context menu freak. What I want to do is to add these commands to the right-click context menu when in a page so as to go instantly to either the top or the bottom of the page (as with ctrl-ho

Thought I'd jump back into this thread with a comment about RoboForm's security. The other day I was trying to find a password that I hadn't needed for a long time and realized that it was stored in RoboForm that I used to use with FF. I didn't want to open FF - snooze - so I thought I'd have a look at RoboForm's folder in my file manager. Well, would you b
