Dorian: Please take a look at http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/forum/read.php?1,131701 regarding the favicon issue that I'm still having.

I can also confirm this bug. Its especially noticeable in Neogaf.com's favicon. It is a known problem of MS developing tools/function that makes it. Dorian wrote that it was mentioned in a specialized coders forum. The dat is saved again and again when new icons are added. And the quality suffers. Could they be saved seperately in a directory called favicons instead of the dat file?

That message has nothing to do with K-Meleon, just the core that it uses. The core it uses is out-of-date for a reason. The ones newer than v31.x.x cannot be used with it.

Ok, looks like I've uploaded the wrong package. Download it again. This will fix the preferences issue. What about the "black page" issue?

I'm still having the black page issue. Its occurring for me when I try to view http://www.cnn.com. My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT with hardware acceleration disabled and the Classic Skin being used to skin the OS. It happens to me too after viewing a lot of images. www.cnn.com could not be found. Please check the name and try again. Normal or I have dns issue ? DNS Is

I found a way to do just that. I disabled write-cache buffer flushing (since I have a SSD set as my system drive) which resulted in the tabs that I have set to launch at startup loading faster than before.

I have been experiencing an issue where the page being shown in a tab/tabs are turning black and having to be scrolled through in order to have its contents shown every now and then.

2. When closing via the Close Button, its process is staying around till I force it to close via Task Manager/Process Hacker. Closing via the menu/keyboard shortcut works as expected. Is that always the case or random? 3. My sessions weren't deleted from the prefs.js after they were imported to the new file. Everything was intact ? Or did it delete only some sessions? 4. T

1. Export them to a Bookmarks.html file. 2. Place it in the profile directory that K-Meleon uses. 3. Configure the Netscape Bookmarks plugin to use that file.

I think that the Form Filling function should not add the same word when its used over and over (just show that one word instead). Also, browser.cache.use_new_backend should be set to 1 as the default.

I have some issues to report regarding it: 1. When I overwritten my install of K-Meleon 74 with it, the toolbars that I hid were showing up again and couldn't be disabled. I had to copy over some files, etc. in order to get it to work like before. 2. When closing via the Close Button, its process is staying around till I force it to close via Task Manager/Process Hacker. Closing via the me

The plugin already use an old version of crashrpt. The last one, supposed to catch more problem, doesn't work at all. Is it possible to get it to work or not?

Dorian: Maybe you can make a plugin that uses or include the functionality provided by http://code.google.com/p/crashrpt/. It might be able to catch the error given by it when it silently crashes.

I don't think so, it will just remove the warning. That is correct, the changes I mentioned just shows the previous page without submitting it.

I think I figured out how to remove it. To do so, do the following: 1. Extract the contents of K-Meleon's omni.ja to a directory. 2. Go to its chrome\en-US\locale\en-US\global directory. 3. Open appstrings.properties in Wordpad. 4. Delete the confirmRepostPrompt and resendButton.label strings that are in it and save it. 5. Compress the contents of the directory as a ZIP and rename to omni.j

1. The bugs from the other tracker should be put onto it. What would You want with a host of obsolete a unverified bugs. Create extra work? There's no point then.

I have some suggestions for it: 1. The bugs from the other tracker should be put onto it. 2. The Crash Reporter plugin should post the crashes onto it.

I am not sure that I understand your term "top paste". If you want to start KM and show a specific URL then the way to that is a command line option. It would look something like this. "C:\Program Files\K-Meleon\k-meleon.exe" http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net He meant to write "to paste" but added a p to the "to" by accident.

The Firefox extensions go into the extensions folder located in the directory that contains your user profile for K-Meleon.

I dimly remember some bug with empty bookmarks being discussed, but may be fixed meanwhile, no idea. Perhaps others know better. Which MK version are you using exactly? The bug with it not filling in the URL of a page being bookmarked is still occurring in the final version of KM 74. If so we need for Dorian or the cript coders an exact reipe and page to repliacate or is it random?
