After many rechecks, I decided it's easier to just start a fresh one rather than continue this time consuming trial and error session. The annoyance is gone and I can move on. I thought that it would be a simple find and fix, but boy was I wrong. Thanks for all of all your replies. Still puzzles me as what caused that oddity, but it's time to move on. :)

Just for the sake of it, I just downloaded another copy and there is only one listing when running this copy, so it is something I've added that caused this to happen. But like I indicated, with all of the additions that I will have to make manually, I'll wait until I have to or feel up to it :) Thanks for the help.

If I was just starting to use it, I would. But I have a few addons, some that require manual insertions like the javascript on/off button and my downloader and it's just not worth the bother at this time. They're identical and I've looked in all of the usual places that one might search to find something but to no avail. I should have, maybe, phrased it an annoyance rather than a problem because it doesn't hinder the performance of the browser in any way. It's just weird to see two of them whenever I use the Edit menu. Oh well, life goes on :)

Sorry to report that I've looked just about every where I can think of and, for the life of me, I cannot find any thing that would give a hint as how I have two identical entries for the "Configuration" selection. Thanks for the reply. I'm aware of KM's development status (it's been my default browser for a few years now) and I continue to use 1.54 on a daily basis. I was just trying out the beta and alpha to see just how stable they were. So far none compare to the stability of 1.54. For sites that give 1.54 trouble, I use the PaleMoon browser. Thanks again.

Hi, just downloaded and setup the KM170a2 and everything was working fine until I attempted to sign in here. Log In went okay, but no remember password box appeared to save the log in. I then attempted to view the saved passwords but the box does not appear. Has this been reported? XPHome SP3 all updates.

Problem solved. I don't know what happened to the Plugin Folder during the installation process, but it is no where to be found. I finally downloaded a copy of the previous version, use Universal Extractor to extract the files and copied the plugin folder from that version into the Program folder of 4.0 :) I'm still baffled as to what happened and why there was no plugin folder where it is supp

I downloaded, installed version 4.0 and was attempting to integrate my old version of DAP download manager by using the copy, paste and rename dll method, but I cannot locate any folder for the plug-ins. tia I could find nothing in their forums about it.

Thanks for you reply, but that wasn't the problem. I toggled F7 on and off and even though the message at the bottom indicated that it was being switched on and off, it was not working. I finally gave up trying to fix it and replaced the entire browser and profile with my backup copy. Works fine now:)

For some reason this link no longer works for me when I attempt go back on a 404 page. Whenever I click on it now it does nothing. javascript:location.href='http://web.archive.org/web/*/'+document.location.href; I have it saved in my bookmarks for quick access and it used to work like a charm.
