This may have been covered before, and I just did not understand. I am trying to use 'setcmdicon' to change the image on a button created by a macro. I have two problems. The first is that the change that takes place does not appear until I create a second window. The second is that I do not see the correct image when the second or third window is opened. The problem may be my code

This will likely impact K-Meleon soon. http://www.zdnet.com/article/youtube-begins-defaulting-to-html5-video/?tag=nl.e539&s_cid=e539&ttag=e539&ftag=TRE17cfd61

@ Yogi Thanks for the information. Unfortunately for me, I have no knowledge of graphics or graphics programs. I am sure that I have some program(s) which do those things. Those programs just do not put labels on buttons or menus that are meaningful to my poor brain.

One worthwhile observation: when you get tab back with PriorTabs - it resurrects by its own, without its browsing history. on the contrary, 'Undo Last Closed' built-in option reloads old tab with all the 'back' steps saved. I never intended any history for PriorTabs. I have no idea on how to include a history. The advantage for PriorTabs is that a user can choose a tab other than t

When changing from en-US to Spanish using preferences panel, I got this. I also had similar panel when trying French. http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1522294/Appear_Spain.jpg

I am getting an error in console2 which indicates that I have put only two arguments on a "setcmdicon" statement. That part is true, but it is saying I should have three. The error: Tue Jan 27 2015 10:55:14 Error: Wrong number of arguments - expected 3, found 2. setcmdicon() My code: setcmdicon("macros(_K75t_code)", "onelook.bmp"); I don't think

KM75_b2u1 Images on PrivBar don't change when toggling prefs. I concur. Images on Privacy Bar will change upon mouseover, but do not reflect the state of the pref they reference.

@ Dorian Now using Beta 2 with update 1. PriorTabs is looking good in first round of testing. Closing of last tab in window is captured when 'close the window' option is selected. More appropriate menu appears with right click on toolbar. This is very good. Thank you.

you need quote around macros(_K75t_code), else it will call the function macros (that's why you have alert at startup) and use the result as parameter to addbutton. Not really what you want. Thanks, that was all it took to make the module work. It did not really like the 21x63 png file but works great with onelook.bmp which is 16x16, The working code is: K75t.kmm # K-Meleon Ma

@ siria That is a good catch. I guess my thinking cap had fallen off of my head when writing the code. I put the "chrome://console2/content/console2.xul" as a hotlink and put "" around all strings. Then I was able to see that one function started with ( instead of { and another line ended with : instead of ; . I fixed those two items. Now the alert runs two times at

I am trying to learn the new macro code noted by Dorian in his original post for beta 2. I am not having any luck. When I run my test code, two working macro created toolbars no longer appear, the test toolbar does not appear, and most of the tools menu is gone. I have no error console. This is the code that I have tried. Can anyone point out what I have done wrong? K75t.kmm # K-Me

@ siria It is both menus from the Go buttons, and it doesn't matter which button that I click in the privacy bar.

If you have the text of a macro module, then to make it available to K-Meleon you need to include the text in a file. Use any text editor that you wish and create an empty document. Paste the text of the macro module into the document. The macro module text will usually begin with lines like this: # K-Meleon Macros (http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?id=MacroLanguage) # ---

KM (74-75) don't recognize some text input fields and treats them like plain page, showing wrong context-menu by right-click. As long as we mentioning right-click menu items, I have noticed a menu that appears whenever I right-click on my privacy bar. This is in KM 75 b1u2. I don't think that I created the relationship, but where would I look to make sure? http://dl.dropboxuserconte

Now prior-tabs works perfectly grinning smiley excellent macros that you do for k-meleon ^^ Thank you, but I hope to make it better. Right now the closing of the last tab in a window is not captured. See this thread: http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/forum/read.php?3,131710,131743#msg-131743

@ siria I don't use sessions very much, but I do have the 'sessions(Undo)' as the action for button on my main toolbar. Also I hide the tab bar when there is only one tab so I will likely change the outcome for closing the last tab. When I am down to one tab I only see the window. I don't even see the tab buttons. I need to do some coding/testing and some may not work until Dorian makes

That is good information, Siria. The default value for "kmeleon.tabs.onCloseLast" is integer 1. I don't think that I have ever changed it before. If set to integer zero the window closes when the last tab is closed. Now the question is how to make the best use of this information. $WindowNumber contains the number of windows. What about this logic? while $WindowNumber > 1

Don't know why it's like that, but moving OnCloseTab to CloseTab seems logic and would fix your problem. That is fine. Just make sure the change does not cause other problems. Weighting PriorTabs against K-Meleon, I would go with stability for KM. Related question: Clicking 'Close Tab' when there is only one tab in a window does not actually close the tab. It just makes the URL equal

I did a test using PriorTabs. I opened a second window and in that window, I opened second tab. I closed the tabs one at a time. Of course when I closed the last tab, that closed the window also. From the remaining window I ran PriorTabs and I had two entries in the list. The name of the first tab closed was there but the second entry was just '...'. At the current coding level, PriorTabs

Physical ram in desktop is 4 gigs. My Win 7 there is the 32 bit version so Windows can only see 3 gigs. The laptop has 64 bit windows and I hope to get an upgrade from 2 to 4 gigs there this week.

When closing a window containing one or more tabs, the events do not happen in the correct order or the reporting of the events is out of order. What I think should happen is this: OnCloseTab should be reported for as many tabs as the window contains. OnCloseWindow should be reported. What actually occurs is this: OnCloseWindow is reported. OnCloseTab is reported for as many tabs as

I think that I have found the problem. I had the ini file being created in the UserMacroFolder. Even if the user has writing permission to his/her profile the directory named 'macros' must exist. The PriorTabs.kmm file does not create that directory. Therefore if the user has put PriorTabs.kmm in root\macros it will run but unless the user creates a 'macros' folder in the profile the ini is no

@ c-sanchez Perhaps I have not asked the right question. The priortabs.ini file is supposed to be created in your UserMacro folder. With KM running, and after closing a tab in the current window, use EDIT > CONFIGURATION > PROFILE DIRECTORY to open your profile. One of the folders there should be named 'macros'. Open that folder and confirm that you have a file named 'PriorTabs.ini'.

@ c-sanchez & siria Please make sure that you have the latest code. It should contain this line. # Updated : 1.6 2015-01-18 ( fix clearlist order of operations & counter reset ) Are you seeing only the "..." or only seeing them after a clear list operation. My testing has been under KM 75 b2. Siria is right in that tabs closed during a window close w

I think this version will correctly clear a current list if needed. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1522294/PriorTabs.7z It was a problem with the order of operations and reseting a counter that caused a problem in the earlier copy.

@ siria I am having major struggles too. The code is old and my memory makes Swiss cheese look solid. I don't think the "clear" is working right in the last version posted. I found a version that I distributed with 1.6 beta 2.6 that seems to work. My next move is a line by line compare. I will have a look at your suggestions also. I used to keep two versions. One for publ

This version does not need utils. I have re-tested several times. The utils statements are commented out and replaced by %COMSPEC%. I had forgot that utils was in there twice. I think it is possible to get a false reading depending on the url and title of the website. I saw a "..." one time but could not make it happen again. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1522294/

I will go and check to see that the version on the server is correct. Edit: Big oops on my part. I had wrong version in previous post. Please try this one. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1522294/PriorTabs.7z Edit2: Not yet, there is still a problem.

where you have to put PriorTabs.ini? the menu Clear List work, but not the list. instead of saving the list of closed tabs, show only ... in his stead. The priortabs module is only for collecting and retaining tabs closed in the current session of KM. The ini file is automaticly created in your profile. The clear list function just wipes out the ini and let's the user begin collecti

Ok, looks like I've uploaded the wrong package. Download it again. This will fix the preferences issue. Very good. I extracted the new version over existing KM75b2 and both preferences and history are fixed. Can you fix the protocol mismatch problem in Console2? Error reports that "chrome" and "file" are not accepted when I try to display the source of an error in
