Hi, years ago I somehow removed the "sessions" feature in K-Meleon. It was useful for whenever the browser crashed, that the next time I started it there would be my tabs I had open the moment it had crashed. But, now I can't figure out how to bring that feature back. Any ideas? Thank-you for the help!

Hi, thank-you for your suggestions. I did indeed find a setting in window diversion, by setting "open urls passed from external applications" to "In a new window". This solved issue #2! For issue #1, I tried the suggestion of setting layers.acceleration.disabled to "true", and so far, so good. The partial-loading problem is sporadic, so I need to keep testing.

Hi, I'm using KM 74 Release on XP SP3 machine, and in previous versions when I use search button for something typed in URL bar, it would display it in the same tab, but now, even with the box checked "in the current tab", it opens a new tab. The only exception to this is if the current tab is about:blank (blank page), then it uses the current tab. I couldn't find anywhere

Once I did that then bookmarks function properly (URL is saved along with title of page). Okay, I just did what you said, by downloading the 1.6 Beta2 7-zip package (because I had previously uninstalled this version), copied over bookmarks.dll into the folder kplugins, and the msv*80.dll files to the main k-meleon directory. I tried the trick suggested by Guenter (place my bookmarks.html file in the default location, then change the location in the preferences dialog box, then set it to default), and that did the trick! Thank-you, I tried out the Search Bar Plus, but while it does provide a separate search bar, it doesn't have the nice feature where it gives suggestions as you beginning to type. It's more of a nicety, not a necessity. I can just go to Google's main page and it works there.

I know that one can put in either URL or a search in the same bar, but it would nice to have the option of a separate search bar. Not only that, but have a Javascript that anticipates what you're typing and offers suggestions (to save on having to type in the whole thing before hitting search button). They have this in Firefox.

I noticed that KM doesn't work properly with Google profiles. Google even provides an error message saying so, suggesting that I get a different browser. It also fails with Google Picasa, probably for the same reasons. That would be helpful to fix this, so that I can just use one browser (KM).
