I finally got around to trying this custom version. It does render most sites very well, albeit a tad slower than Seamonkey. Now is there a way to get the password manager functioning?

I keep returning to the forums, hoping to hear that someone has awakened the project. But sadly, it seemes as dead as OS/2. Last Novemember I switched to Seamonkey, which is quite fast and uses a modern Gecko Engine like Firefox. I was using K-Meleon 1.6b2 for nearly two years, but without any updates, I started noticing that I was missing items in pages that easily showed up in Internet Explor

Hmmmm - it's getting there, but you're right; it is buggy. As you move your mouse pointer left and right, the other pull-down menus show up (My menu bar is hidden.) But I really appreciate the input. Perhaps someone will chime in about this.

Hi Folks: I am changing my K-Meleon setup to be all on a single bar, and thus am trying to get mostly used items on a single toolbar. I have all of my find and preference buttons working. One I am stymied by is a Bookmark button. Now many themes have a Bookmark button that allows for a right-click display of Bookmarks. And it appears like so: %ifplugin bookmarks Bookmarks{

Posted by: caktus Date: December 10, 2010 03:57AM I use the free Gavotte Ramdisk on my XP Home SP3. I have it set to 64MB which is pretty high but it rarely consumes that much mem. I have it formatted to FAT 32 That's the same RAMDisk app that I used, on WinXP Pro SP3. If I place all my temp directories there, wouldn't you get crashes on larger zip file extractions or the like, if you

So here's a couple things that don't seem to make sense. Most of you seem to empty cache all of the time. But if I'm visiting a site that pretty static, and I wan't it to load likety-split, why wouldn't I want to cache as much as I can so it will load faster from the local source? (thus only updating changes that are slight). It seems 8 mb of cache would be gone through in minutes. Similar

Just a few specific questions about cache first: If I am going to use a RamDisk for disk cache (I reserved 512 mb for one), then why do I still need to set aside some RAM for Memory Cache? The HowTos on here don't recommend shutting it off? I want to make sure that for a boot session, the cache remains (ie: for images, banners, etc) so that they will load faster. And since I'm using a RAM Di

If it's session related, I'd suggest to check if cookies are only allowed to be stored for a session or such... Cookie settings are here: F2 > Privacy There could also be a session-restriction for google-cookies (in "Exceptions"). Unless there's some extension used for cookies, that may have own settings. Thank you muchly! That URL fixes it up enough for my liking! :)

This is what I get when I login (and only for the first time in a browser session. If I log out and then in again, it goes straight to my mail. But if I exit K-Meleon and then start it up again, it shows this screen again. http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t153/JodyThornton/GoogleLogin.gif

Hi Folks: I'm sure that this is not a K-Meleon issue, but just to be sure, I thought I'd ask. When I use K-Meleon 1.6a4 or 1.60 Beta, and I log into Gmail. It brings me to an account screen first (apparently I haven't set up a Google Profile yet - nor do I want to). I can click "Mail" and go right into mail, but the point is, NO OTHER browser does this. IE6, IE8, Opera, and Fire
