I can see favicons, so I guess I have them enabled. Most of this thread is over my head so I don't want to mess with the settings unless I have simple instructions. My browser does crash but then upon restart it says "retore" and it goes back to where it left off Thanks for the feedback so far.

I have kind of an interesting situation, I never have run across. When I go to my URL bar and type in the letter "A" (without quotes) the browser crashes. Now I can type in any other letter and I get a drop down box of all the previous sites I have visited. But when I type "A" the browswer crashes. My first thought was the first site in the list, that begins with an &q

Seriously :D I love K-Meleon but there was one website I found it was better to use Chrome from Google with. So I downloaded Chrome and used it. I figured, I'd keep Chrome as a backup browser. Then I went to open a link in an email. But the link opened in Chrome. I knew I didn't install Chrome as a default browser, 'cause it asked me if I wanted to make it the default. So I double checked Ch

Thanks, copying from the archive did work for me. I like the Aura skin but the color of it is way too dark for me.

I've been having issues with Hotmail. I have Vista SP2 and K-Meleon 1.6.0 and cannot do anything in Hotmail. It works just fine in Chrome and IE, so I don't know what is causing it. I tried to set the user agent to Firefox but it doesn't help.

I had to do some reworkings, so I uninstalled K-Meleon 1.6.0 and I did a clean install. Saved my bookmarks and password file. So I reinstalled K-Meleon 1.6.0 and I noticed now the option for Phoenity Skin (large) is not there when I hit preferences (F2) All I get is AuraAlpha, AuraAlpha (large) and Klassic. OK what did I do wrong? Do I need to uninstall and start over? Or is Phoenity

This just seems to have started with me in Hotmail. I can get into Hotmail just fine. But when I go to click on a message it doesn't open. I have my javascript enabled and I can navigate the site OK, I just can't open any messages. Hotmail works fine in Chrome an IE and I don't know why this just started. I do know Hotmail often changes code, and I usually use PopPeeper to retrieve Hotmail. But

OK this should be easy to find, but for the life of me I keep missing it:) I have a netbook with K-Meleon as my browser. Currently when I start the netbook up K-Meleon opens automatically. But I don't really use this machine for browsing so I'd rather choose to open K-Meleon rather than start it automatically. Now I know I can go through Win7 and block a program from starting automatically,

How do you install the alpha version? It doesn't come with an installer I have to say I've notice a lot of sites now giving me the notice my browser doesn't support frames. I have 1.5.4 and more and more sites are giving me errors. I hope this isn't the end for K-Meleon 'cause it rocks!!!! I notice even on YouTube (starting today) I'm getting error messages. I tried switching user agents but

Thanks I tried what you said I cleared out my cache, I cleared my cookies, then I set the User agent to Firefox. Still no luck. As I said, it's not a big deal but I thought I'd post it in case it was a bug. Sounds like it's bad scripting or something

This is an oddity I can't figure out. I go to www.walgreens.com and I go to look at their weekly ad. It gives you the option of viewing the ad in FLASH (broadband) or HTML. I used to choose HTML (I hate flash) and all was OK :) For the last three weeks I noticed no matter how many times I click on HTML I can't get it to work. It always defaults back to broadband (Flash). I can view

Here's an update It's definately my computer, as I tried this site on other computers and it works like it should with K-Meleon. Here's what I did. Since my laptop had an ".S" file, I copied the ".S" file contents on the laptop to ".S" file on the desktop (the one with the issue). Nothing happened. When I rebooted K-Meleon, the website was gone from the "

OK I have installed the enforce password but it doesn't help. It's a great tool though. But I still get no options for saving the password. I tried a few other things. I did a system restore, but that didn't help. Didn't think it would but you never know. I tried to reject another site just to see if it would show up in the rejecte sites when I hit that radio button. That worked OK. I al

I tried going to Tools -> Privacy -> View Data -> View Password and clicked the radio button for rejected sites. Nothing is in there. I went to F2 (Preferences) -> Privacy & Security -> And the box for Remember Login Data is checked. To be sure I unchecked it. Closed K-Meleon and the opened K-Meleon and rechecked it. Still nothing The password manager works great

On a website I'll call Acme.Com, I would always get the password manager to remember my login and password. Yesterday this is what I think I did. I think I brought up the site and accidently hit more keys, so in a sense a new login was entered. So the screen "Remember this login"? came up. I think I must've hit "Never for this site." Instead of "No." Now wh

I was wondering, if I am reading a webpage and click on a link that link opens in the same tab. Which is fine. If I want to open it in a new tab, I right click on the link and choose "Open in background tab" I was just wondering is there an option to make K-Meleon open all links in a new background tab. I mean without having to right click. In other words every link I click on will op

Thanks that solved the issue. The box marked "Display Toolbar background" was unchecked. When I checked it, it changed from "light blue" to the beige. Thanks again

I recently had to reinstall K-Meleon. I currently have version 1.5.3 When I reinstalled it, I chose the phoenity GUI. The GUI seemed to have changed. It used to be kind of light beige color. Now the skin is a light bluish. I have three options phoenity, phoenity-large and Klassic. I've tried them all but they all are blue. Is there anyway to get the beige color back? Thanks

I have K-Meleon set up to open the previous session at start up. But here's the issue. I ran across a page and it must have something screwed up on it, 'cause it locked up my computer. Usually no big deal. So I hit the red X in the upper right hand corner. Then I close K-Meleon When I go to reopen it, it says "Not shut down correct, do you want to resume where you left off. I hit &qu

I just bought a new laptop computer. Right now I have K-Meleon on my desktop. I installed K-Meleon on the laptop. Is there anyway I can just copy a file or settings from the desktop over to the laptop? It would be a bit easier (OK I'm just lazy:)) than going through the settings and manually choosing. I don't see an INI file so I'm not sure if it's done through the registry. I don't like to

I upgraded from 1.5.0 to 1.5.3 and one thing I notice is now my "add bookmark here" option isn't working like it did before. If I have a folder it works fine, but if I have a subfolder it doesn't work. For instance, if I have a bookmark folder called "Daily Stuff" and want to add a page it works fine. But in the "Daily Stuff" folder I have another folder called

I am using Windows Vista - Home Premium Edition (x32) SP1 and something must've changed when I upgraded IE from IE7 to IE8. I use K-Meleon for everything but there are a few sites that don't work right so I have use IE once in awhile. Anyway, now K-Meleon is no longer the default browser for non browser application links. So I did this. I closed K-Meleon then right clicked and ran it wit

OK I just put in a new hard drive (for more space) on my computer. Now I have two physically sepearte hard drive. My "C" drive has K-Meleon 1.5.0. Since there is a new version, I wanted to put that K-Meleon 1.5.2 on my new hard drive. My new hard drive is called "J" So I do I move this. Should I uninstall K-Meleon 1.5.0 from my C-Drive and install K-Meleon 1.5.2 on the J-
