Same problem here, i tried to understand too... Here I'm going to use openid.org : can't remember well but the guy owning it disagreed the openid.net foundation and decided to run alone with its own openid in a commercial way...but openid.net blocked his certificate, check wiki for more about. So! here we are! an invalid/untrusted certificate! Test with KM1.6 beta 2 : 1 - Action : opening KM

Hey guys! :) I just have switched to beta 2. So before i forget that i write it here. Report from my daily use with beta 1 : Youtube, Dailymotion, Wat-tv and Megavideo seems ok for me! Youtube is perfect with KM! I know i wrote about html5-video but not a problem since i have the new flash player. Other things from my daily use with beta 1 : with Gmail, Yahoo and hotmail seems ok too. Multiuser f

Hey there, just reporting :) Dailymotion's html5 video is flickering with KM1.6 beta but seems to work fine with Firefox. With Chrome, it is even not flickering at all. Unfortunatly, i can't compare with IE at now. (On 'http://html5test.com/', it seems that KM1.6 is rated 20/27 when Firefox and Chrome are 22/27). I was wondering which parameters i can play with for trying to improve this... P3

From my daily use : 'New Twitter' working fine on KM1.6 beta(but can't stop scrolldown in the welcome frame LOL), working fine on Firefox 3.6 and Chrome 8 as well. Only 'old twitter' working on KM1.5.4.

@JohnHell : Yep, they call that 'Stage Video' but as they exlplained it, it's the beginning of integration into Flash player from a bigger project called 'Mohehill' where rendering perfs are equal to playstation 1... don't know if it's true about ps1, but this new video acceleration works on my old pc. As I'm a big fan of tv series :p, you can't imagine how big this is to me LOL :P This is Xmas

@Jujuland : Thanks, you are damn right! :) I was just thinking of those 'cross platform' things and i mess it up. I just have read about Wine and ReactOS. They are quite sharing the same win32 stuff and ReactOS seems to support NT drivers!!! fine for me! :D So now i'd rather try httpstreaming perfs with ReactOS, KM and Flash(for windows!) :s :D Have a nice end of year!!!

@ndebord : I just have read another posts where you're talking about ram disk. Really interesting!!! cause you are on the way of the 'Netbook' concept(no mechanical drives). But my having 10 years old pc and xp sp3 pro, I only got 256MB and none of the 512MB required... :( So the solution i found out was : for improving speed the main idea for me was to reduce the hardware 'read/write' on my hard

Well, I posted this in the subject'The real memory hog'! (i'm the 14th post i guess) :) http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/forum/read.php?1,105037,105612#msg-105612 Well, the result of this really fit my expectations. So, this was before Flash player 10.2 and its new video support. With Flash player 9 and 10 i had to do that : Using WinXP pro, I first created a hard disk partition with a size = c

Hi, I just come back from some Adobe confs where they were talking about Flash Player 10.2 beta and Adobe Acrobat X(10). So, Adobe did a few enhancements to these products. Seems they had some pressure of new techs like android, ipad and Google TV... So, what is interesting for us here is the enhancement brought to Flash Player 10.2 : the video acceleration. Recently, i was used to use K-Meleon t

Following what you all said about the real hog, i also think that adobe flash is one of the biggest. Fortunatly, KM is here but not only for the flashblock, I really enjoy surfing with KM and flash. Well, thinking windows like 'linux', i always have been thinking that windows was over-using this partition C:. So i tried repartioning and i also just have won speed by dividing the partioning of my d

WTF 'yesteryear'!!! The post of this guy is surely oudated now. Google Gmail, Google Docs, Google Maps and Yahoo Mail still working fine... I downloaded KM at first because the real features of KM is to be a 'light & alternative browser'. I think that using KM on my other oldie computer which is a P100 is a amazing bonus. :)

Hey, i just have tried Twitter for my blog since a few weeks and i understood that it's great idea to mix my news feeds with the Twitter community cause people are beginning to use Twitter search like Google search. It's easy, just have to register a Twitter account and a Twitterfeed account(or whatever feed app you like), just have to link the twitterfeed account with twitter and to add the rss f

Not really important but the transparency for the new youtube profiles doesn't seem to work. The transparent elements of the design just vanish making the text going to mix with the picture :( but all is still functional... ;) (Tried with kmeleon 1.5.3 on winxp and win2k)
