Maybe a quick start-up guide. KMeleon is not more confusing than other browser IMO. But I think I'll replace the toolbars with a ribbon. :D

Does it work again if you reactive it or you need to restart?

Here an updated gestures plugin. @Chanson Yu The account would help if I can't create one. Not being able to read chinese is more of a problem though :)

The "id" function does not work well in the update, not a problem with the restart command. The selection problem is gestures fault I suppose.

Indeed, the macros folder is missing in the default profile.

Put the attached file in your macros folder. It adds 2 new menu item in the reoload menu. New macro commands for 75, great! :) :) Just wondering what exactly a "hard" reload means? Was assuming it meant force-reload (id navForceReload), but now unsure. It means nothing. It's just how Zero3K named it, doing the reload with kmeleon and not with js.

Less than I thought at first. Here a first implementation with the update I've just posted for RC75. Reload2_Timer{ id(navReload); } Reload2_Start{ $Reload2_duration = $ARG; if (5>$Reload2_duration) { $__pre=getpref(INT,$_Reload_Interval); $Reload2_duration=prompt(_("Enter number of seconds between reloads:"),_("Continuous Reload"),$__pre);

I'll put a bug on wineHQ bugtracker. As a temporary solution, isn't it possible to test the OS, and if it's Linux to use the solution which works for Linux, else use the solution now used by K-Meleon. http://wiki.winehq.org/DeveloperFaq#detect-wine

It must be done without javascript. This is possible (with some limitations) but I need to fix some things first.

Dorian: I have an idea regarding the favixcon corruption issue. Maybe you could try storing them as Data URLs. Well? This would need to change the way favicons are retrieved. How to store them is a minor part of the problem. Windows has both version of comctl32, v5 was default, v6 used when app request it. Something is wrong with wine, you should ask in wine forums. Perhaps, but ho

Maybe I should specify my problem... in the old K-Meleon 1.54 I just clicked on 'Bookmarks' in the menu, had the long list of the bookmarks dropping down, could direct the mouse to a specific one and do a right-click. The right-click popped up the right-click context menu on which I could choose whether to open the link in the current tab, a new tab or a new window. Such a menu never existed

Why so much interest for a restart feature? Unless you keep fiddling with macros ... :)

@jujuland Download again. This should write a file comctl.txt in your profile with the version detected. You need 6 (minor number is not important)

@Dorian Nice, that works fine ... Thanks A+ That's what I thought. KMeleon fails to see that you have comctl32 v6. Could be a wine bug. As a side note, I tested that .exe under Windows 2000 to see if it fixes something too and that breaks again the old skins system transparencies returning to black backgrounds. Normal since I've just removed the version checking. Yo

@jujuland Try this update for the transparency. I want to verify something. Dorian: There's another bug that I've been noticing for a while. The bug is that when watching a flash video, going to another tab, and back to it causes it to show the frame that was last displayed before switching then it shows the actual frame its now at. An example can be viewed by going to http://www.twitch.tv/

Anyone have the Tab order problem with the new session plugin? For example, if I run Kmeleon with a blank Tab, then I open, let's say, 10 Tabs, the order is Tab1, Tab2, Tab3,...,Tab10. In the session options, I set "open last session at startup". Then I close Kmeleon. When I run Kemelon again, the tab order becomes Tab1,Tab10,Tab9,...,Tab2. It's kind of reversed Do you open tab &quo

Heh, the bug to save favorites (with k-meleon in Spanish) also comes included in this version again :S It happens only in spanish? Pref kmeleon.plugins.macros.searchtyped.openurl Replace line 271 in main.kmm with: open($OpenURL, $_HowST);

Dorian, I found that you've added NewsFox to the KM 75b3 but no one of updates hasn't added the needed pref so the RSS-reader is 'hidden' in menu and inactive in Addons Manager. Please add line pref("kmeleon.install_firefox_extension", true); to kmeleon.js in defaults/preferences and don't hide tasty things from your fans! :P I'll add kmeleon in the rdf Also, Dorian,

@George I have no problem to open older sessions. Your sessions.json could be corrupted. If you don't mind, and if you still have it, I would need your sessions.json file to check for errors.

This request made me realise a shortcoming. checkbutton is dependent of the toolbar name, so you can't choose the toolbar freely. In proxy.kmm add Proxy_Toggle{ menuchecked=(getpref(INT,$_Proxy_Type)!=0); getpref(INT,$_Proxy_Type) == 0 ? &_Proxy_Custom : &Proxy_None; checkbutton("&Privacy Bar", "macros(Proxy_Toggle)", getpref(INT,$_Proxy_Type) == 0 ? true

Saving an action to do when downloading a file doesn't work. It can be replicated by installing EagleGet's Firefox Addon, having K-Meleon download a file via it, clicking "Do this automatically...", clicking OK, then trying to download another file with the same extension (or the same file). Open about : preferences -> Application Check if your file type is in the list.

If you had tested, geolocation does not work with kmeleon, so ... network.proxy.type won't slow your startup unless you have problem with your system settings. The real problem is that the options is missing in the preferences. I can add an upgraded proxy macro if it doesn't need new translations, or if it's already translated. Else this will be for next version. Just send me what you think

I'm working on Preferences XUL panel, I fixed proxy preference problems with "Custom Proxy1" tab and other problems in proxy tab. Thank Also the preference network.proxy.type have a wrong default value of 5, the right value must be 0. This is firefox default. Why it's wrong? Saving an action to do when downloading a file doesn't work. It can be replicated by install

@jasonliul Try the crash plugin and see if it catches the error. You have to enable it manually in the pref panel.

I got it. Gecko pref system is following the link thinking it's a property file. Why you and not me, why it stops when you change it, are mysteries.
