I'm having the same problem here. As soon as I enable mouse gestures links become "unclickable" and the throbber in the upper left corner won't stop spinning. When I disable mosue gestures everything's back to normal.
I'm on Windows Vista here. Mouse gestures have been working fine in Windows XP for ages, so this could be a Vista-related problem.

@Hao, Just a thought but I have been using FF3b5 in Linux a lot this week and it crashes on exit quite a bit--mabye something to do with Flash 9--who knows, but I have been using the windows version since beta 1 and haven't seen that.

Thanks a lot guys (desga2 and kko). i guess i will use the nearest ANSI charcaters for my project. till when Kmeleon starts supporting unicode, i will change them to unicode.

Works to me in 1.1.5 but not in 1.5 Beta.
I'm checking macro file because i found some errors.

There was a error in first line of code (or someone modified this in code). I fix it.

The first line is this:

All in one line. This line had two enters (3 lines) beetwen 'Macros' and '(http://...)'.

I'm trying to adapt the firefox extension to save in mht format 'I don't remember the name).

I have tried it with Firefox, and opening mht file opens IE.

I haven't begun, and I don't know if it will work.

If you are reffering to window not close after push over "OK" button, this isn't a bug or error, this is thus in original code an original NoScript version (Firefox).
OK button save configuration changes but not close window or showed any dialog.

If you changed some options click on "OK", push close cross in up-right square or "Cancel" button to close window and after you open Options again and all changes were saved, "OK" button are working fine.

You mean we should no longer embed the Gecko engine? So that users had to install Firefox in order to use K-Meleon?

I find Kmeleon to be very useful and infact use it almost everyday. Some of the minor things that I don't like are the lack of themes and the lack of powerful extensions. But for everyday browsing, I think that not many people need that anyways. My pc loves Kmeleon since it uses much less memory and RAM leaks are not a feature of Kmeleon ;).

As desga2 already mentioned, K-Meleon 1.0 and 1.1 do not support Unicode. Translations of [url=http://freenet-homepage.de/CoolMcKluus/software/kmeleon/project/reference/localization/menus.html]menus, macros, toolbars[/url] and [url=http://freenet-homepage.de/CoolMcKluus/software/kmeleon/project/reference/localization/binaries.html]binaries[/url] have to be given in the Windows code page of the target system. In case of Western languages (English, French, German, Spanish, ...) this is Windows-1252.

The Russian translation is given in the codepage of the Russian Windows (Windows-1251), consequently.

K-Meleon 1.5 will probably be the last version supporting Win9X (which does not support Unicode). The 1.5 k-meleon.exe is a Unicode build for WinNT only, k-meleonW9x.exe is an ANSI build for Win9X. Currently, I can't tell you whether 1.5 will (or even can) support Unicode (i.e. UTF-8) for translations. We're still in beta stage...

First of all: Many thanks desga2 for this update. No problem installing (in Pocket k-meleon 1.1.3).

But I have a little problem...
When I right-click the noscript icon and click on options to bring up the options panel,
there are three buttons at the bottom of the options panel: "reset", "ok" and "cancel".

Problem: Clicking on the "ok" button (to save preferences) does nothing; does not respond.
(The other two buttons work fine.)
I wonder if anyone else can reproduce this problem or is it just me?

I don't recommend that, even using the Seamonkey user agent (updated and modified via "I10n.js") doesn't work... perfectly.

I don't recommend anything beyond send messages, as I did several times, to Yahoo requesting to stop browser checking and/or add K-meleon or others (as Opera) as fully compliant as they are.

Something as they do with their videos, that is not the best, but now they use flash that is "compliant" with all browsers, not the best, but stopped the stupid browser checking.

Are you tried to changed User Agent string to Firefox?
Tools -> User Agent -> Firefox

It's poddible that GMail not recognise K-Meleon browser as compatible browser to standard view.
Try to changed your user agent string to Firefox (for example);

First, UTF-8 is an UNICODE format.
Second, K-Meleon 1.02 not support Unicode formats in menus. (I belive remmember)

You must used an unicode supported editor as for example [url=http://www.pspad.com]PSPad[/url] or [url=http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net]Notepad++[/url] (both free, but there are a lot like these).

Save your files in unicode format (UTF-8).
