When, looking at Featured Extensions one or two hours ago, NoScript Security Suite
was one one the Featured Extensions.

Next copy {73a6fe31-595d-460b-a920-fcc0f8843232}.xpiinto the extensiosn folder.

Copy NoScript 2.0.9.3 macros into the K-Meleon Root Folder for both K-Meleon 74.0 and K-Meleon 75.0 Beta 1.

For K-Meleon 75.0 Beta 1 , copy the skins folder AuraAlpha into the default skin folder and copy Klassic skin folder into K-Meleon Root Folder skins from NoScript 2.0.9.3 http://www.digivill.net/~joykillr/kmeleon/noscript-2.0.9.3-km-0.2.7z

I tested the NoScript Extension and it blocked some scripts some Flash Video Scripts and some links that allow to changes pages at some places like sites where you can read manga or online books

I updated NoScript noscript.kmm macro and after I copied the buttons for Klassic folder to the Default Folder. That are included in NoScript 2.0.9.3 http://www.digivill.net/~joykillr/kmeleon/noscript-2.0.9.3-km-0.2.7z.

I changed the line in noscript.kmm
$OpenURL="chrome\:\/\/noscript\/content\/noscriptOptions.xul"; &OpenURL_InNewWindow;

to the line
$OpenURL="chrome://noscript/content/noscriptOptions.xul"; &OpenURL_InNewWindow;

Becuase the line chrome\:\/\/noscript\/content\/noscriptOptions.xul when I used in the address bar, I received a website address not found eror message. And the NoScript options window seemed load more quickly with the changed line in the noscript.kmm macro

I used only those NoScript buttons in Klassic folder becuase only three buttons are needed in the Default Folder to work with all Skin Folders in both K-Meleon 74. and K-Meleon 75.0 Beta.

NoScript 2.6.9.12 https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/user-media/addons/722/noscript_security_suite-2.6.9.12-fn+fx+sm.xpi a newer version of the firfox extension is available for download.

Do not forget to rename NoScript 2.6.9.12 to {73a6fe31-595d-460b-a920-fcc0f8843232}.xpi before copying it to your extensions folder.

The new macro noscript.kmm and default buttons are included in NoScript.zip below.

I wanted to include NoScript 2.6.9.12. Which is not possible because the NoScrript,zip would make NoScrript,zip more than 512K with the NoScript 2.6.9.12 Included.

Sorry to bug you, but should the right-click menu appear in K-meleon too? I can't seem to find a way to get the drop-down menu for allowing or blocking scripts when clicking the button (it seems to only work as a master switch off/on). Copied wrong or limitation of GUI?

I think that their is no right click menu for the NoScript Button.

Becuase I think creator of NoScript Macro did not add the right click menu to the NoScript Macro.

However, "NoScript Configuration" in the Tools Menu under NoScript opens NoScript Options.

NoSctipt Options allows us to add websitess to the whitelist among other things.

I know what it does, however I find it too much trouble to write manually every whitelist entry I need instead of just clicking from the drop-down menu like in FF. However I understand that it looks like tons of work to get something like that working here, so not gonna even ask for it.

Am not sure if I understand any of this, but in general, if you want another action on a button, and that action is contained in the kmm already in the menus somewhere, another button action wouldn't be a major prob.

Recently NoScript ha been updating very quickly sometimes once or more a month,

So if you want the laest NoScript Security Extension very quickly as possible download it with the "Free Download Manager" using "Drop box" draggung install icon on to the box and renane the downloaded xpi file to {73a6fe31-595d-460b-a920-fcc0f8843232}.xpi then copy it over to the browser\extensions folder.

Or you can just click install at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/noscript

I only occasionaly update some of the extensions

Updated with latest NS and folder spelling an structure fixed

The latest NoScript only for Firefox 45.0+ and Seamonkey 2.43+.

The latest version that works with K-Meleon 74.0, 75.0, 75.1, and 76 is the version 2.9.14.

The interface does not work correctly with NoScript 2.9.5.1 and 2.9.5.2

Noscript appears in my Tools dropdown menu, but trying to open the configuration menu does nothing. The extension is listed as disabled in about:addons, and there's no option to enable it.

You can always try Goanna build, it is portable mode by default.
If you encounter website issues thats related to rendering engine, you can try Goanna build to see if issue goes away or not.

just for testing my newest knowledge LOL:
- in Tools/useragentmode: is FF compat mode enabled?
- in page about:config: is there something like
kmeleon.install_firefox_extensions=true
xpinstall.enabled=true
- in that file: ..programs..K-Meleon/platform.ini: what is the milestone number?
- in your profile folder: did you delete startupCache folder?

You are using a version that not compatible your version of K-Meleon.

All versions above NoScript 2.9.14 https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/user-media/addons/722/noscript_security_suite-2.9.0.14-fx+fn+sm.xpi, The configuration menu was changed in a way that would not with K-Meleon 74, 75, 75.1, and 76.0

K-Meleon 76 (Goanna) does not have that problem because it can use versions that are compatible with Palemoon.

At the time of my post NoScript 5.1.8.3 was the latest version.

Now the Latest Version that works with Palemoon is NoScript 5.1.8.4 and should also work with K-Meleon for Goanna.
