BitLet is an online service you can use to download torrent files without a client.

menu entry: link context > Link Services > Torrent Downloader
note: Java Runtime Environment (JRE) has to be installed

IMO bitlet is more convenient than torrent2exe. Try it out and make yourself a decision.
