+ Easily download videos: in flash format (LQ, Normal, HQ), as MPEG-4 (HQ, HD) and in mobile format (3gp).
+ Works on any Youtube video page (not the front page).
+ All videos served in a single-page. No reloads. No clutter. No advertisements and user comments.
+ Hot key "CTRL" + "Y" activates the macro.
It makes youtube look as follows:
This macro is not interfering with YouTube Downloader; you can use both if you like.
Well, it's up to the creator of the code to update, maintain it and add more features (same goes for siteflow).
There is plenty of online services you can use to download yt videos in .mp3 format. Just a few examples:
I use Orbit's Grab++ feature. Before I go to a site like youtube or any site that has embedded media, I use a mouse gesture to open the Grab window. It's the best solution I found so far for KM. Haven't yet found a bookmarklet that can download media from any site. If anyone else has, let me know.
Can you please jsnj explain me how to use Orbit with K-Meleon? I have the extension, and the Orbit program launches automatically when clicking a download link. But I can not see the "Get-it" button on flv videos, in youtube for example. So, I don't know how to use it.
Thanks in advance

The Get-it button option isn't available in KM. I just created an extension though.

I don't think that such bookmarklet exists. There is the All-In-One Video Bookmarklet http://1024k.de/bookmarklets/video-bookmarklets.html - it works/worked only on couple of websites and isn't updated anymore. Grab++ seems to be the perfect tool anyway .
I did found a software for this years back. A list of pages from which you could download was huge. But you had to pay for it. I can't remember the name. I am searching for it right now.
The world browser has (or had years back) a plugin for download (I think ctrl + left click to open it). i used it a the time, but i do not know what could you download with it and do not know where to search in TWB archive on forum. i do not think they use it anymore.
File2HD is an almost complete universal downloader that lets you download files/videos/music whatever from websites to your local PC. It will grab just about anything that is embedded in a webpage.
Does not work for atom.com videos.
Well, those who really need a video ( pursuing good old WYSIY - What you see is yours) and can't get it any other way, should use CamStudio Free.
