Just a little update. This build should run with sandboxie. If not there is the -norestrict command line option, which should remove the security restriction added in 1.5.1.
Also, this build should work better for those who only want to open tabs, and not windows.

I tried -norestrictions and also -norestriction without success
(with and without sandboxie). I wonder what I am missing.
EDIT: Dorian, could you please check the file you zipped?
The extracted file has a date of 10-04-2008 (same as v1.5.1).

the -norestrict command doesn't work here either, it opens as a URL address, that means the binary doesn't understand the command.. also the file version sez 1.5.1.

Just wanted to indicate that with the update ( 1.5.2 Beta ), K-Meleon works as intended. Put another way, thank-you very much for resolving this issue.

Well yeah, here the correct one.
(I can't update the other post ...)
I replace the k-melon.exe of K-MeleonCCF ME 0.09 Beta4 V1 ( http://kmeleon.blogspot.com/ ) with that of the K-Meleon 1.5.2 Beta [EXE only] and now my "hybrid" k-melon is rendering faster than v 1.5.1 and with a new interface.
Also, this build should work better for those who only want to open tabs, and not windows.

1.5.2 Beta works great with tabs. No new windows at all .
But in RC and RC2 when I select from the menu "About K-Meleon" or "About Plugins"
a new window opens instead of a tab. Or right click on an image ->display/show image loads the image in a new window .
Any chance to include the tab behaviour from Beta in the final 1.5.2 release?
hi matt, even though it appeared as a feature, this was actually a bug failing to detach the window when requested and caused serveral errors especially with xul applications
