Possibly I can release K-Meleon Beta very soon, this weekend or next week.

YES - that's the good news of the week!!
IMO "cp4" could also long since have replaced "a4" on the download page. And seeing how well that one works already, the new one will probably be a very usable beta version Direly needed out there, with all the growing gecko1.8 probs meanwhile, sigh.

As 1.6 is almost out (beta although) but 1.7 it's on alpha state... which gecko version is going to include the 1.6 final (if someday it's released a final of 1.6, instead 1.7...)?

We are going step by step, as a little baby.
K-Meleon 1.6 always run Gecko 1.9.1.x (Firefox 3.5.x and Seamonkey 2.0.x)
K-Meleon 1.7 always run Gecko 1.9.2.x (Firefox 3.6.x)
