The "open as url" item in the right-click context menu when selecting words is really useful, but would it be possible to have the option (or default action) that this opens in a new tab?

"Open as URL" opens where you have set "Selected Text" to open.

Hit F2. In "Open [Combo Box]" select "Selected Text" and make your choice.
