I know the difficulties about that ..., but really wish to see natural build for Linux ...
Is any chances to see Linux build of K-Meleon in future ?

I hope this because Linux is the future OS.

For now, I use 1.5.2 under Linux (the standard setup), and except some crash due to wine (memory problems, it seems), it works. I'm in relation with wine guys to help debug, and hope it will be improve.

Some features don't work as URL listes.

I'm making a specific linux extension to make possible to open link files with linux programs instead of having to install Windows program. This extension will make possible the local html files opening with K-Meleon.

The only thing I can't do for now, is to open links in K-Meleon from another program (for example Thunderbird). It seems the parameters aren't passed the same way under Win and Linux, and wine just pass 'K-Meleon %U' instead of 'K-Meleon http : // .... Nobody have been able to help for this point.

For a specific Linux version, I think that the compiler to use would must one which exists under Win and Linux, but that Dorian which can decide to make it, and I don't think it's in the roadmap...
