Russian Kmeleon Team want to see Sidebar in Kmeleon! It must be included in new build!
If the development team has the time then perhaps a sidebar would be useful. It should not, however, be for just one or two applications. It should be like the menu system with macro language statements to control it like "setmenu", "menuchecked", "rebuildmenu" control the menu system.
Use this forum to talk about a feature you're missing. Use the bug tracker to report it if necessary.
