Could you improve the new Yahoo! Mail? I find this version more convient. I have to keep using the old version. Thank you!

You can use the new Yahoo version, only change the User Agent string to Firefox 2:
Tools -> User Agent -> Firefox 2

K-Meleon Project can do absolutely nothing to "improve the new Yahoo! Mail?", it is Yahoo's fault and nobody here can alter their code.

As desga2 answer says You can only evade this Yahoo bug if use a Firefox User Agent String.

p.s. K-Meleon users are not the only group that use Gecko engine and that are effected by Yahoo New Mail developers incompetence.

Yahoo mail, GMail, Hotmail, and some other sites do not correctly detect compatible browsers.

They fail because they sniff for browsers (nobody knows all) and not for HTML rendering engines.

Code that can correctly detect current browser engines does exist, as You can see and test at Klaus Kohlers's home page. He has created and shows a working browser engine detector.

Guenter,

In a similar vein, some of the major financial sites are beginning to program their sites for either IE7 or FF3.... and ONLY those browsers. We may well need to find a user agent string that works there IF or WHEN these changes occur.

<SIGH>

The fix is spoof the firefox version that they want.
You can use kko's page to hone the prefs.

Some ideas how the detectors are made trenchant.

Currently state of the art boils down to make empty vendor pref.
Makes Standard User Agent string look like:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de-DE; rv:1.8.1.19) Gecko/20081217 sad smiley

But leaves no loop hole when You spoof FPox.
Another is add vendor comment NO Firefox plus version - that lets them detect what You want (their scripts overlook NO)

It is in flux.
You are not the only that visits places with a bad browser switch.
We all have to keep updated.
