Hi everyone...

K-meleon was not able to find your tool bar settings..Your selected skin might be missing or corrupt.PLease check your skin settings in the GUI apeareance section of k-meleon preferences.

This message appeares after i compressed Klassic folder in k-meleon\skins\Klassic
and took out the uncompressed folder...

Nevertheless the browser starts and works allmost normal after you click on the ok button...

It looks to me that after you compress the skin folder the browser can not find the path toward the skins folder anymore...

Is there any way where i can go and manually set the path so that k-meleon will recognize the new commpresed skin???

Thank you all

You mean You zipped it - and did not compress via OS function?

No problem to start but K-Meleon will not show buttons.

No; It would be an extra function to program that K-Meleon must expect and read a zipped skin.

(K-Meleon can read zip files but expects them only to be a ./chrome/*jar)

@ guenter:

I guess that he did right click over folder in explorer and in "Properties" -> Advanced Options... -> and check "Compress content to save disk space" option.
(OS options in my Win2K)

@ gunter

Wouldn't KM having to decompress to read, then recompress just be unnecessary work causing KM's response time to slow as with indexing?

On most PC decommpress is faster than HDD and especially portable USB read.

Hombre tienes rason...
