How do i turn on classic search like it used to be in 0.7?

I mean classic Find in page feature , i hate the firefox style.

There are others that think as you and they preferer a search dialog instead find bar. Read this thread.

The searh dialog is included yet in k-meleon.exe, but ins't used.
I guess if you know rebuild K-Meleon from the source you can do it work with some littles changes in sources. (Change ID_EDIT_FIND reference from Find bar to Search dialog)

AFAIrememeber because PPL wanted it.

If the code for both versions still exists, perhaps in future version have the option to choose which type to run?

I agree. I also am much more accustomed to a Find Dialog window that I can position wherever I want to make it easier to mouse-click or to change search content.

I would probably eventually get used to the Find Bar at the bottom of the page, but WHY??? when the Find Dialog window is the default in nearly everything else?

If some prefer the Bar, and obviously some of us prefer the Dialog Window, make both an option.
