I think that this would help with ssl sites where you do shopping. I don't like (rather than hate) the IE 7 like that only shows the site as encrypted. Hell it could only have 32bit encryption and still show as encrypted!
Open Edit > Configuration > Browser Configuration and type security.ssl into the filter bar. As you can see, encryption strength is at least 128 bit - anything else is disabled by default.
Use this forum to talk about a feature you're missing. Use the bug tracker to report it if necessary.
