because not all ppl out there (including me) use IE or Netscape, a Plugin to use Opera Bookmarks would be very nice. I hope it can be done...got no idea how easy or difficult it could be...

That _would_ be nice, because I used to use Opera much because it imported ns/ie bookmarks and had a nice interface. Now, I have open it up when I need to save or locate a bookmark.

However, how practical is this? What format is it?

i kind of suspect that sooner or later, in order to function elegantly, k-meleon will need to have it's own format/library for... what's a good neutral term? collected URIs? whatever. hopefully, if that happens, representative coders from the various camps can write plugins for importing said URI collections. i'm not sure how opera handles them, but the methods used by IE and netscape could both be improved upon, i reckon. maybe there's a best-of-both-worlds solution... i dunno.
