Another option I really like in mozilla is:
Display Animation only once!
(I hate these gifs flashing all the time, causing headaches and confusion, but
sometimes it's nice to see an effect _once_ :-)
We'll see if we can get that option available. Technically, the option is already "available" but you have to set that in the preferences. Ideally, the setting would be available in the preferences interface.
Sometimes, I do some webmailing or ebay-stuff using my cell phone (GSM standard, German network), and then I like to switch off as much stuff as possible. But even with "real" network connections, it can be quite handy from time to time.
But: should be with a toggle key/button, and *not* somewhere burried in the preferences, which would render the function pretty useless.
The next release will support setting preferrences in the macros so that you could create a toggle in your menus to turn on/off javascript, images, etc. I'll try to do a help sheet that will demonstrate how to do that.
I really like the way you can edit the Menu settings, for example key bindings.
You don't have to search through your files "Where was that xyz setting"? and
you are not restricted by the GUI :-)
Maybe this could be implemented for more settings? Maybe with a check after
editing so you would not mess up everything?
