Something like IE's CTRL + ENTER

In IE, you can enter any string and have the http://www and .com added to it automatically. This is one of those little features that would make the K-Meleon so much nicer to use.

I'm not talking about autocomplete or anything history related, just an easy way to complete URL's with default prefixes and suffixes.

Also, a Go button would be nice. I realize that some view this as useless, as did I when I first saw it in IE, but it sure helps when you're just casually browsing around with your mouse and have just pasted a URL into the entry field. One less movement of your hand from the mouse to the keyboard. smiling smiley

Yeah, and when you lie in the sofa...;)
Fact is that the "Go"button is also very useful for a lot of impaired people. I'm sure it will come (hope).

I second the request for a CTRL + ENTER shortcut.

IMHO this is one of the most useful features in IE, and is one of the only reasons I don't use other browsers for anything above and beyond application compatibility testing.

I third the request for this feature. Things like this, are the reason why IE will continue to be my default browser for the forseeable future. I use Kmeleon for testing purposes only at the moment.

just for reference, netscape does the same thing, except you don't have to hit ctrl+enter. if you have "smart browsing" turned on, you have to add the .com manually, but it still adds the http://www.

Yes, but that feature is spotty. For example:
http://site.com
http://www.site.com

Can be completly different sites.
