K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
K-Meleon has been using the same Popup Blocker for years without any updates.
The same Popup Blocker has been used at least since K-Meleon 1.6.0Beta2,
More ways to create popups have been created since then like popunder popups.
And the FlashBlock! That is the bug that locks up the browser on
video sites.
And the popup blocker might be the tab bug I have on my versions db types.
Turn off flashblock to watch videos.
On the tab bug:
There was a little bug on the browser. When you had many tabs
open & went back & forth from tab to tab one of the tabs would just vanish!
The only way I found to fix that is by setting the about:config to:
"kmeleon.tabs.fixedBar;true"
That is "Attach Tab/Window Buttons to the tab bar" so the tabs has a tab bar now.
And on the mouse control was changed in the about:config to:
"kmeleon.tabs.OnDoubleClick;1"
That sets the left Double-Click = Open new Tab
"kmeleon.tabs.OnMiddleClick;2"
That sets the Middle Click = Tab bar menu
"kmeleon.tabs.OnRightClick;0"
That sets the Right Click = Close Clicked tab.
I agree. Its not blocking pop-ups from leechbb.com. Please fix it so it does.

You are possibly right but it is not K-Meleon.org that develops GRE features. And IMHO this is one.
Go to K-Meleon's about:config, look for values associated to "pop".
Do the same for Firefox.
Have You verified that it is a popup?
By definition popups are AFAIK done by JavaScript. New techs make them by other means and tricks that cannot be caught by a simple JS popup-blocker/filter.
By site and trick popup blocking is only done via dedicated addons with rules and lists.
Addblock plus is the quasi industry standart for this and Wladimir Palant alyways has supported the K-Meleon project with a special version, currently we are even a step further and can use their off the shelf Firefox product.
You do not report a bug with Its not blocking pop-ups from leechbb.com.
www.leechbb.com does not open a popup when I go there. So there is no popup bug, is there?
But with: go to page..., do this..., do that... And You will get the bug xyz.
The old procedure continued with:
Then others try and if needed refine Your receipe.
Then a dev looks at it - if he has time.
Or the others cannot repeat the error at all because it is only with Your PC, K-Meleon install or settings. Then probably no dev looks at it.
The devs of old even declined to look into bugs that had not been reviewed in this way. I am still here to vagually remember a dev and procedures before Dorian. :O
It has repeatedly mentioned that a receipe is still needed.
We waste Dorian's time if we do it differently.
Dorian is not strictly insisting on it. But he postpones or stops looking if he cannot find the receipe easily.
And You have possibly noticed how fast Dorian corrected evident flaws in hotlist.dll after they were reported with examples/receipes how to reproduce.
