K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
IS THERE ANYTHING SIMILAR TO WEB MAIL NOTIFIER FIREFOX EXTENSION THAT WOULD WORK IN K-MELEON??
yeeah it's only think why I still using mozilla!
I'd like to have somethingh to gmail checker image: http://prntscr.com/3alz5
Firefox uses a complete GRE which includes all parts that a Thunderbird GRE includes.
Their XULRunner based GREs are identical.
So the Mozilla browser and mail program only have a different GUI!
K-Meleon uses a selected subset that ideally only includes Mozilla GRE parts that a web browser needs.
Your screeshot shows part of Firefox's XUL based GUI.
K-Meleon does not use that XUL technology for its GUI.
So IMHO Your chances of porting webmail notifier are not good.
You could try to get the Opera or Chrome versions of that application working.
p.s. Your cahnces may become better in case K-Meleon would change to use the full Xulrunner GRE. Few here do like that option.

Personally have not used a web browser web mail notifier (like Seamonkey and Firefox with the right extension) in some time. What I do use is npopuk, which sits in your tray and polls your email server at intervals that you set and I use it to check all my accounts, including gmail.
Use the newsreader icon to call up npopuk instead of a newsreader.
Tools/mail and news/Configure News.
