No idea if it's a risk for other users, but personally I'm surfing with javascript BLOCKED (occasional exceptions), with embedded objects (flash etc.) BLOCKED, Cookies BLOCKED, Java BLOCKED, Domain storage BLOCKED, popups BLOCKED, referer BLOCKED, Ads blocked (just the old basic built-in adblock version), pdf opening EXTERNALLY in sumatra, etc... :cool: Ah yeah, and surfing on win98se
And of course all those blocks with a handy button in the privacy toolbar, to quickly toggle on/off if needed
Well, don't know too much system stuff, just my impression that aside from such blocks the security mostly depends from the engine itself, which is gecko1.9.xx, so I'm risking it myself ;-)
Anyway, have you discovered the latest development version, "
cp4" by desga, he has quite some bugs fixed from older "a4" :cool:

Download preBeta (alias cp4) {Mirror}
Please use a fresh installation, not update previous cp versions.
Note that you need the
7zip program to unzip it!
KM1.6cp4 (preBeta) is a portable version, in the sense that it needs no "installation", just unzipping, and the user profiles are independent since they are created inside the program folder. You may need writing rights in that folder.
Ah yes, and if you're a real big fan of speed, there's a thread about "RamDisk" somewhere in the forum here, they say it's yet another incredible speed boost ;-)
